Dark Is Dark

A story of a sad boy

By Shoan SiamPublished about a year ago 1 min read

"I don't know why tonight is so dark compared to other nights. It seems like there is silence everywhere. This silence seems a little more than other nights. Maybe everyone has fallen asleep. But like a night bird, I am awake alone. Maybe someone else is awake somewhere else, maybe no one is awake. Maybe that's why there is so much silence, maybe the sky is so calm, silent, pitch black." Latif started crying while saying all these things to himself. Maybe there really is no one like Latif awake in this dark, black night. Everyone is probably wandering around in the land of sleep. But Latif seems to have lost his sleep. His mind is probably in the corner of some house. Where Latif's beloved person is probably having a happy time with a new person. Maybe he has forgotten Latif by now. Maybe that person is making some new person his own. "Maybe Neela has now turned her husband into her new love. Maybe I will never see her again. This one night took him away from me. This one night shattered thousands of dreams. This one night took away thousands of nights of sleep." Latif kept writing the letter as he said these things to himself. It was written that Latif was leaving his home, his parents and family and was going on an unknown path. Dawn was falling in the sky. At that moment, Latif set foot on an unknown path. He left his familiar city, his people and his address.
