Book Review of "Where Coyotes Howl" by Sandra Dallas

"Where Coytoes Howl" by Sandra Dallas paints a realistic portral of life in Wallace, Wyoming in 1916. A young schoolteacher named Eleen, moves to this remote and dusty town. Sandra Dallas's meticulous writting, she breathed life into each character personality, creating a strong cast of supportive characters.

At the center of the story is Ellen's love for Charlie Bacon, a ranch hand. We have front row seats to watching their relationship, built on love and determination, unfolds as they navigate the harsh realities of life on the High Plains. This is a story of perseverance, love, friendship and companionship, acceptances.

If you enjoy reading historical fiction and are interested in the daily life challenges faced by ranchers and their wives, this is the story for you. I listen to this story and the narrator, Stephanie Németh-Parker, did a captivating job with this. I am so looking forward to reading more of Sandra Dallas's stories.
