It's in gratitude that I write this. There is no defeat in writing, our successes are judged by our very own hearts. How we reach others is the point. Sometimes the point gets across in a certain way.

I was contacted by Mosaic Digest Magazine to have an interview done with them on the topic of writing. I was actually thrilled at the great care they took in promoting my work internationally, their professionalism and their dedication to writers and writing. They also included a dialogue with two interviews!

I was thrilled that another magazine picked up the interview, Readers House in United Kingdom and I received an Award for Literary Excellence for my books, mentioning four of them overall in their interview.

In the past year my book of 300 poems also received literary merit in a Gold Award by Literary Titan and I was thrilled. It couldn't have come at a better time in my life, having lost my house and beloved business to a city water main break and house flood. It lifted me from my gloom. Not for ego's sake but sheer appreciation.
