Welcome to part 4 of my on-going series of articles pertaining to the current fifty-million-dollar defamation lawsuit Johnny Depp has filed against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Of course, if you’re not familiar with everything that has been going on up until now, or feel a bit behind on all the latest information, you can always read my other articles here, here, here, here and for a refreshment and palette cleanser, you can read all about the real Johnny Depp here.
It’s hard to believe but today marks 27 years since Nick, Brian, Kevin, A.J. and Howie – aka Backstreet Boys – entered our lives. Proving that, not only can the boyband curse be broken but also, just how much their music has stood the test of time. If you’re sitting there thinking, “wait up fangirl writer person, didn’t BSB break up at some point?” The answer would be no. Sure, they took breaks here and there to pursue solo projects, and Kevin did leave for a period of time but they never actually/officially broke up. Enough of that talk.
“And we’re baaaack!” (Just some Jimmy Fallon humour to break the ice there).
It has now been over a week since audio of Amber Heard admitting to being physically abusive towards her ex-husband Johnny Deep was released and… not much has changed.
If you’ve been following the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard drama since it started back in 2016, you might have noticed the mass of conflicting stories that have been circulating. It really has become a he said/she said situation and quite frankly, it isn’t looking good for Heard. Now if you’re sitting there thinking “wait, what happened?” That’s why I’m here cause apparently, news outlets just don’t seem to care when it’s a man who is abused.
It’s hard to fathom that today marks 12 years since Heath Ledger’s passing. On January 22, 2008, fans across the globe heard the devastating news that Heath Ledger was found unresponsive in his New York City apartment, at the age of just 28.
Leaving us a too short, but beautiful and immortal filmography.
