Visionary Women

The founder of Leading with Lee™ is creating a new kind of community centered on connection, purpose, actionable support, and the belief that women shouldn’t have to figure out their next chapter by themselves.

NEW YORK, NY — September 20, 2026

There are podcasts, courses, webinars, books, networking events, LinkedIn posts, and Instagram reels all telling women how to level up. But what happens when information isn’t the problem?

What happens when what a woman really needs is someone in her corner?

That question is at the heart of “You Belong Here, Sis,” a growing movement founded by purpose coach, brand strategist, and Leading with Lee™ Founder and Editor-in-Chief Lee K. Whetstone.

The movement is rooted in one simple but powerful belief: women shouldn’t have to build their careers, businesses, leadership skills, confidence, and lives in isolation.

“You can have the degree. You can have the title. You can have the business. You can be the woman everybody calls when they need something and still feel like you’re figuring your own life out by yourself,” Whetstone says. “I want women to have a place where they don’t have to pretend they have all the answers.”

That place is Club Purpose, but Whetstone doesn’t want it viewed as simply another monthly membership. Instead, she sees it as the foundation of a larger movement built around belonging, connection, intentional growth, and real support.

For years, ambitious women have been encouraged to build their networks, strengthen their personal brands, find mentors, and invest in themselves. But access to information doesn’t always translate into having the support necessary to actually apply it.

Club Purpose is designed to bring those pieces together through community, coaching, resources, meaningful conversations, accountability, and opportunities for genuine connection.

Whetstone’s work has long existed at the intersection of purpose, visibility, leadership, branding, and personal development. Through her coaching and media work, she has encountered entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders navigating questions that extend far beyond business strategy.

What do I actually want? What comes next? How do I become more visible? How do I lead with confidence? How do I build something meaningful without burning myself out? And how do I pursue success without losing myself in the process?

“You can’t separate the woman from the goal,” Whetstone says. “If we’re talking about helping women grow professionally, we also have to talk about confidence, relationships, boundaries, purpose, communication, and the woman she’s becoming along the way.”

That philosophy is what Whetstone believes separates “You Belong Here, Sis” from traditional networking and professional development initiatives. The goal isn’t to create another space where women simply collect information. It’s to create a community where women are encouraged and supported in actually using it.

The phrase “You Belong Here, Sis” represents the culture Whetstone wants women to experience. It’s a reminder that a woman doesn’t need the perfect résumé to belong in the room. She doesn’t need a six-figure business, a corner office, or every detail of her future figured out.

And she doesn’t have to become someone else to deserve the opportunities she’s pursuing.

“Sometimes the most powerful thing someone can hear is, ‘Sis, you’re not crazy. You’re not asking for too much. And you don’t have to figure this out by yourself,’” Whetstone says. “That’s the energy I want this movement to carry.”

While connection sits at the heart of the movement, Whetstone is equally intentional about making Club Purpose practical. The vision is not simply to inspire women, but to give them a space where encouragement can turn into action, relationships can become resources, and individual goals can be pursued with the support of a community.

Ultimately, “You Belong Here, Sis” is about more than professional advancement. It is about reminding women that success does not have to be a solitary journey.

Sometimes the next chapter doesn’t begin with another course, another strategy, or another piece of advice.

Sometimes it begins with knowing you finally have people in your corner.
