The Inconsistent Nature of Justice
Inconsistent, Impartial, Uneven, Arbitrary, Random
In the realm of life, justice is nowhere to be found,
A concept elusive, its presence not around.
Blind and deaf, it falters in its impartial role,
Distributing fortune and sorrow without control.
To some, it bestows kindness, a gentle embrace,
While others are met with sorrow's relentless chase.
No rhyme nor reason, no order discernable,
Just the capricious nature of fate's unfathomable.
Perhaps in this chaos a lesson profound,
In the disparity of fates, wisdom is found.
To cherish what we possess, hold it tight,
Embracing gratitude, banishing sorrow's blight.
To remember those burdened, suffering and weak,
To lend a helping hand, to a better world seek.
For in unity, strength and compassion unite,
To forge a world where justice's beacon shines bright.
Though justice remains an elusive ideal,
In our collective efforts, a flicker of hope we reveal.
For in striving for fairness, we elevate our souls,
Breaking the chains of injustice, making them whole.
