Rugs are a choice of people who love Art and Paintings. From time immemorial Art has been a part of the life, starting from Cave paintings to Middle Age art to Modern Art. Rugs capture the artistic ideas and present them on the floor, unlike a painting that hangs on a wall.
We at Pihue have studied thoroughly the Art movements and Artists of the World to create Rugs that are Chic, Uber, Bohemian, Rusty, Traditional, Modern and Abstract. One of the favorite hobbies of our Founders is appreciating Art and curating Art. We have a Van Gogh painting in the front office and Paul Klee painting in the Office Room. While, Cubism seems the favorite of our Designer and he adores Pablo Picasso paintings.
As Pihue is based in India, most of our Artisans love Madhubani Paintings and Gond Tribal and also Rajasthani Paintings. Can we say more that Pihue is a mix of both Traditional art and Modern art.
