Jain Manchurian

Ingredients

30 minutes

4 persons

Oil for frying

250 grams chopped cauliflower

150 grams fenugreek

2 chopped capsicums

2 cups chopped coriander

1/4 cup cornflour for Manchurian mixture

2 teaspoons fine rice flour

3 teaspoons green chilli paste

1/2 teaspoon pepper powder

Salt to taste

For gravy.....

2 teaspoons oil

1 teaspoon cornflour for thick gravy

2 teaspoons soy sauce

4 teaspoons tomato sauce

1/4 cup mixed vegetables (cabbage, capsicums, carrots, beans)

1/4 teaspoon pepper powder

1 teaspoon red chilli sauce

2 teaspoons coriander

Cooking instructions

First, mash the cauliflower and chillies, then add chopped coriander and salt, cornflour, pepper to taste Add the powder and rice flour then make small balls of it.

Now heat the oil for frying and when the oil gets hot, fry all the Manchurians in the hot oil, taking care not to overcook them, so that they do not remain raw inside.

Then mix the cornflour, water, soy sauce, chili sauce and tomato sauce and make a slurry. Then heat the oil and sauté the mixed vegetables in it. Sauté for a minute. Add water as required and when it becomes a little thick, add the fried Manchurians to it and mix well and add pepper powder and chopped coriander and serve.
