Bhagavad Gita

A life changing book

By Pragnya PrakashPublished 3 days ago 1 min read

That was a phase of dejection ,disappointment and failure. Life was showering its bitterness and left me in the nowhere land. It was offering various problems and asking me to resolve them. Sometimes it even tried to abandoned me. I was adamant to leave this life as coward .

Many questions were swirling on my mind , why should we live this life amid all these problems? What's the purpose of life? What happens after death ? Many and more questions like this .When I was lost and hopeless I thought of reading our own sacred book that is Bhagavad Gita, it is an ancient Indian epic poem. It is believed to be a conversation between lord Krishna and warrior Arjun. It is a part of Mahabharata, an ancient Indian epic poem. Bhagavad Gita is originally written by Vyasa. This very book has given answers to my question, has given hope to live on this earth. And makes one to realize the value of life and purpose of life. It leads an individual in the right path to achieve salvation .

I never read a book more than once, but this is the book I read 20 times so far. More you read this book more you can understand the book better . Anyone can read this book, but not everyone can understand it . It is quite hard to decode the philosophies in the text. It doesn't need your intellectual brain to understand the philosophies, but it just needs pure heart to understand it.

If everyone reads this book and incorporates its philosophies in their life then this world is the best place to live in.

Jai Sri Krishna
