I thought it might be a good thing. If people could generate whatever content they wanted with AI, maybe it would reduce the demand for real people being exploited, coerced, or trafficked into the industry. But I was far from the truth. The more I learned about AI porn and how it's actually being used, the more I realized that this isn't solving the problem. It's making it worse. Yes, it's an opportunity for people in real life who aren't in the industry to avoid exploitation. But all the negative aspects are so much greater than any potential benefit. Because it's creating entirely new problems that we're not prepared to handle. In this article, I'm going to explain exactly why AI porn is more dangerous than people realize, and why we should be terrified if this becomes mainstream. AI porn is creating unrealistic expectations that real people can never meet. One of the biggest problems with AI porn is that it's creating a version of the human body that doesn't exist. AI-generated content can be completely customized. Perfect proportions. Flawless skin. Unrealistic body types. Exactly what someone wants, with no limitations based on reality. And when people consume that content regularly, it warps their perception of what real bodies look like. They will start expecting real people to look like AI-generated models. They will start comparing real bodies to digitally perfected ones. And real people will never be able to compete with that. This will affect the brains of those who consume it, making them used to an unrealistic version of reality to the point where real people may no longer seem attractive. I've received comments on my TikTok videos from men calling me "ugly" just because I have pimples and dark circles under my eyes. And this happens because they're so used to seeing women with filters and heavy makeup every day that when they see a normal person, they consider them outside their definition of beauty. And AI porn will take it to a completely different level. Because with AI, there are no limits. You're not constrained by what a real human body can actually look like. You can generate whatever you want, as extreme as you want, and it will look real. And the more people consume that content, the more disconnected they become from reality. So there will come a point where men will not be attracted to real women, because in their minds, there will be a version of women that will never exist. Men who watch AI porn with impossible body types will expect real women to look like that. Women who see AI-generated "perfect" bodies will feel even more insecure about their own. And both will struggle with intimacy because real people, with real bodies, will never measure up to the digitally perfected versions they've been consuming. And what I think is more dangerous is that AI porn can also create unrealistic expectations about behavior, performance, and what intimacy should look like. People will expect real partners to act like AI-generated characters. To always be available. To never have boundaries. To perform exactly how they want without any of the communication, compromise, or emotional connection that real intimacy requires. And when real relationships don't live up to those expectations, people will be disappointed, frustrated, or worse, they'll stop pursuing real relationships altogether. Because they will no longer get excited about seeing a real woman. We're creating a generation of people who will have completely warped ideas about what real bodies look like, what real intimacy feels like, and what they should expect from real human connection. And the argument people make is, "Well, at least it's not harming real people. If someone has those urges, isn't it better that they use AI instead of seeking out real victims?" No. Absolutely not. Consuming that content doesn't satisfy the urge and make it go away. It normalizes it, reinforces it, and makes it easier to justify. When someone regularly consumes AI-generated content depicting illegal acts, they're training their brain to see those acts as acceptable. As normal. As something they're entitled to. And research has shown over and over again that consuming this type of content increases the likelihood of someone acting on those urges in real life, not decreases it. It desensitizes them. It makes the transition from fantasy to reality easier. It removes the psychological barrier that might have stopped them before. And now, with AI, that content is more accessible than ever. You don't have to go to the dark web. You don't have to search for it in hidden forums. You can generate it yourself, privately, with no trail, no risk of getting caught. And that's incredibly dangerous. Because the people who consume content depicting children aren't going to stop at AI. They're going to escalate. And when they do, real children will be at risk. The same goes for violent and abusive content. When men consume AI porn that depicts rape, abuse, or violence against women, they're normalizing those behaviors in their own minds. They start seeing women as objects that exist for their fantasies. They start believing that what they're watching is acceptable, desirable, or something women secretly want. I know there would be men who would say, "It's just fantasy. No real person is being harmed." But they're wrong. Because the normalization of those fantasies does harm real people. It creates a culture where violence against women is sexualized and accepted. Where men feel entitled to act out those fantasies. Where women are seen as less than human. And the more normalized it becomes, the more dangerous the world becomes for women and children. If AI porn becomes mainstream, real human connections will become obsolete. AI porn is a replacement for real intimacy. And if it becomes mainstream, we're going to see an entire generation of people who choose AI over a real human connection. Because real relationships are hard. They require effort, communication, compromise, and vulnerability. You have to deal with rejection, insecurity, conflict, and the messy reality of another person's needs and emotions. But AI is easy. It's always available. It never says no. It will be perfect. It won't have stretch marks. It will act exactly as you want it to. And as AI technology gets better, as it becomes more immersive, more realistic, more accessible, the gap between AI and real connection is going to close. And for a lot of people, that's going to be more appealing than dealing with a real person. And if many of you are still skeptical that something like that could happen, just look around at how people are reacting to this technology. People are already replacing their psychologists, lawyers, and friends with AI. We've already seen how technology has replaced other forms of human connection. People choose texting over phone calls. Social media over face-to-face interaction. Parasocial relationships with influencers over real friendships. We're more isolated, more disconnected, more reliant on technology for connection than ever before. And AI porn is just the next step in that direction.
