There are so many android apps in Google play store, I wonder where do I store them? I want to organize my apps and put them into folders. But it is quite difficult to choose a proper place for your app. So today, I am going to share several places for you to store your Android App, before completely lost in the vast though beautiful Galaxy with 800,000 apps!

Where are my apps stored in android?

The Android OS has a few different methods for storing data, but most of the time you'll find that your personal data (including app downloads and settings) are stored on a microSD card. The reason for this is because most Android phones come with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, while microSD cards can be purchased with capacities of up to 128GB.

The main reason why apps are stored on the internal memory rather than the SD card is because it's faster and more reliable for many apps to run directly from memory. However, if you're low on space and have no other option, you can move your apps over to an external SD card.

Where is the location where android installed app data is being stored?

The default location for the Android app data is in the "Files" folder of your internal storage. To access this folder, you'll need to first navigate to Settings > Storage. From here, select Internal storage and then press the three-dot menu button to open the folder browser. The path to your Android app data is /storage/emulated/0/Android/data and it will be filled with a number of folders containing all of your installed apps.

You can use this path to find out where an individual app is stored in Android.

Are all apps on my android phone actually stored somewhere on the device?

Yes, all apps on your Android phone are stored on the device. The Google Play Store is the home for Android apps and games. You can browse and download apps from the Google Play Store app or by visiting play.google.com/store in your web browser. When you install an app from the Google Play Store, it's added to a folder called "Download" on your phone or tablet.

From there, you can move it around to different locations on your device or delete it if you no longer want it on your device. You can move apps to other folders by dragging them out of the "Download" folder and then into another folder such as "Documents," "Music," or "Pictures." If you have multiple apps installed that belong together — like a music player and its corresponding album art — you can put those two apps into their own folder so they aren't scattered throughout your device's storage space.

How can i find a specific app on my android phone?

On Android, you can search for apps by name or by its package name. If you know the package name of an app, you can find it easily. If you're looking for a specific app, open up the Settings app on your phone and tap on Apps. Scroll down until you find the App Info option.

Tap this and then tap on Show System Apps at the top right of the screen. You'll now see all the apps installed on your phone with their package names visible next to them. So if you want to find an app called "Facebook", just search for "com.facebook". This will show all apps that contain "com" in their names and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for that way.

In A Word...

If you are trying to install apps on your device, have some other stores apart from the play store. There are several different ways to do it, but what's important is that you make sure the apps can be installed on your device, because each one is a little different.

You also want them to be able to run without much trouble, which can mean getting updates periodically. If an app requires an update everytime its opened then that sounds like high maintenance and a lot of work for an app you may use once in a while.
