What type of security does google use? This is a question I get asked a lot as a cyber security consultant. I'll be speaking broadly about the types of security measures that Google implements, then I'll go more in-depth into what tools they specifically use (and they use a lot!).

Google is a very secure company. They have a lot of money and resources, which allows them to hire the best security people in the industry. Physical Barriers: The first line of defense against intruders is physical barriers such as high walls and fences.

These are used to keep people out of restricted areas like data centers or server rooms. On-Premises Guards: On-premises guards are often armed with guns, Tasers or pepper spray. They patrol around the facility looking for suspicious activity or unusual behavior. Electronic Systems: Electronic systems are used to monitor both the physical environment and employee activity on the network.

These systems can detect when someone enters an unauthorized area or tries to access sensitive information they shouldn't have access to, such as payroll records or financial data.

Google also uses safety measures like iris scanners, facial recognition technology and biometric workstations.

This ensures that no one can intercept your connection and view sensitive information such as passwords or credit card numbers. Google also uses safety measures like iris scanners, facial recognition technology and biometric workstations.

These technologies help prevent unauthorized employees from accessing sensitive documents or files on Google’s internal networks.
