It connects your request to the server and also allows you to switch between web pages and website. It acts as a translator between you and the requested website by speaking the same language. It reads your request and codes that are sent back from the server translate it in the form of a website.

Coding is the process of writing a programming language for servers and applications to get the computer act how you want it to. Coding is called as a language because it is comprised with vocabulary and grammatical rules to communicate with the computer. It also includes special commands, abbreviation and punctuation which can be read by the device. There are different types of coding language but put under two categories, front-end and backend.

• Front-end

It is the side that we see when we use the internet. Front-end is everything with which a user interacts. It is the side of a website that we see and communicate with as an internet user. The main goal of front-end development is to create a smooth frictionless experience for the user. It is a big for the developer because people use different devices and the website should be accessible for all types of devices as the format of front-end for mobile phones is different from the format of front-end for desktops.

• Backend

It is the side that we don’t see when we use the internet. Backend refers to the server side development. It can be said as the behind the scene activity when accessing the internet. Backend is involved with database, scripting the infrastructure of the website. Logging into an account or shopping online is result of backend performance. There are more coding languages for backend than that of front-end.

• CMS

CMS or Content Management System can be defined as an application or program that is used to create and manage web content. CMS let you create the structure you need by adding plugins, add-ons and many more. CMS mainly has two important components. One is a Content Management Application for the front-end user that allows the user to update or remove the content of a website. Another one is a Content Delivery Application that collects the content and updates the website. CMS is most suitable for e-commerce and blogging websites, but it is useful for all type of websites.
