Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, responding to us State Department spokesperson's remarks threatening China, said That China is a creditworthy country and is capable of upholding its own independent policies based on multilateralism, Russian media reported.

The implication, of course, was a warning to the US that it was in no position to criticise China's foreign policy. As the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zakharova made a statement about the US threatening China, of course, because it has something to do with Russia.

Earlier, The US State Department spokesman Price said at a press conference that the US will closely monitor the trade between China and Russia, and if China dares to militarily aid Russia or help Russia evade sanctions, China will face a double blow from the US Allies and will pay a heavy price.

Although Price later added that the United States had not yet detected similar activity, the implication was that a "double whammy" on China would not be imminent.

As a spokesman for the U.S. State Department of Foreign Affairs, however, his words will be listened to by several people, depending on the strength of the U.S.

Although from the current political reality of China and the United States, price's so-called threat can not have any impact on China, it is just the United States in order to maintain its face in front of a number of smaller countries, to play a fat face.

But it is annoying that the US always looks so superior to China and Russia. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian had already responded by saying that the United States was acting like the world's policeman and should "look down on itself" for creating and promoting the Crisis in Ukraine, rather than threatening others.

According to the custom of Chinese diplomacy, that was quite a statement, but compared with Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova's statement, China's response in the space exchange between the three spokesmen was too subtle.

Zakharova took a jab at the United States, directly using the recent relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia as an example. She asked Price if China did supply Russia with military weapons, would the cost be as severe as that of Saudi Arabia?

Previously, President Biden berated Saudi Arabia for the khashoggi case, saying that the United States wants to unite with its Allies to turn Saudi Arabia into a "pariah state." As a result, he had to take the initiative to visit Saudi Arabia and meet with The "khashoggi case" crown Prince Salman Jr. in order to ease domestic inflation and lower oil prices in the United States.

In Zakharova's words, "Biden took an empty oil can, groveled in front of Saudi Arabia and tried to beg for some oil, while the Saudi crown prince ignored Biden's faults (biden called Saudi Arabia a pariah state) and hosted the leader of an economically troubled country in the name of world stability."

It may not be accurate to say that the United States, the world's largest economy, is an economically troubled country. However, Zakharova used this example to show that the image of the former ARROGANT US, who initially threatened Saudi Arabia, but now has to seek Saudi Arabia's help, is still very vivid, and more appropriate to the current Sino-US relations.

Biden took the initiative to visit Saudi Arabia to lower the price of oil at home, trying to get Saudi oil to increase production, to ease inflation in the United States.

Similarly, price is still threatening China with Russia, but the U.S. cannot survive the current economic crisis without China's cooperation as the "factory of the world."

Threatening to ask for China's help in the future is a sign that American politics has become complacent, with Biden and many other American politicians stunned by economic woes at home, waning influence abroad, and the political will of both parties.

They may not be unaware that China should not be offended at this time. However, it is just as the US stresses that it will manage the risk of military conflict with China while provoking China on the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea issues. To drink poison to quench thirst or rob Peter to pay Paul, the root cause is that the United States has pushed itself into a corner.

In both domestic and foreign affairs, there is no way to think long term. For example, Biden used the Khashoggi case to say that he would turn Saudi Arabia into a pariah state, but the reason is that American voters who supported him as president generally blame the death of Khashoggi on the Saudi crown prince and have a problem with the Saudi crown prince.

To put it bluntly, Biden was trying to secure the presidency at that time, so he either didn't say anything or could only follow the direction of American public opinion when he spoke.

As for the global energy inflation caused by the Russia-Ukraine war, the US needed Saudi Arabia's help, even if it had thought of it at the time.

The same is true for China now. Doesn't the US government know that it is against logic to threaten and provoke China when it wants to cooperate with China to stabilize its economy?

In fact, they also know, but the car went down the hill, the brakes broke, can only be a hurdle.
