For most users, the tablet has long been turned exclusively into a home gadget, on which it is convenient to read news and watch videos while relaxing on the couch. Recently, however, more and more models began to support cellular networks and navigation systems, which significantly expands the scope of their application. Teclast T20 belongs to such devices.

Software

The tablet Teclast T20 uses Android 7.1 Nougat. More than a year has passed since the release of this system, so its use in a modern gadget is at least surprising. About any upgrade to Android Oreo or even more Pie and there is no question.

Performance

The Helio X27 chipset at the time of its appearance on the market was one of the most productive solutions. However, about two years have passed since then, so now his speed will not satisfy everyone. A large screen resolution also had a bad effect on speed.

Camera

The main camera is a 13 megapixel module with a Samsung S5K3L8 sensor. He could well take pictures if the manufacturer had optimized the software a little.

Unfortunately, the pictures are bleak and expressionless. Their quality loses even entry-level smartphones. So, there is no point in using the Teclast T20 for photography. The most that cameras of this gadget are capable of is filming documents in good light and video conferencing. However, most users use tablets for this purpose.

Pros Teclast T20

  • Good build and materials
  • Large amount of RAM and internal storage
  • Support mobile networks and navigation
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • Reading mode
  • Good sound in headphones
  • High capacity battery

Cons Teclast T20

  • Poor equipment, charger with a Chinese plug.
  • Poor gaming performance.
  • Bad external speaker sound.
  • Non-optimized camera.
  • Outdated OS version.

Results

In general, the Teclast T20 leaves a good impression, especially considering its price. Almost all competitors with support for cellular networks and navigation are more expensive. The tablet is perfect for reading books, watching movies and surfing, but fans of modern games should look for a more productive model.
