Samsung Watch Active 2 Aluminium Dial, Silicon Straps

So the galaxy watch active2 is currently selling around 10 000 rupees which is a great deal considering the price. It was launched and i personally bought smartwatch for about 15 000 rupees just about three months ago. I will try and share the pros and cons and my experience very quickly. So let's get right down to the business first up.

Overviews:

The display is just pretty good you will enjoy the display even the outdoor visibility is pretty good. So display wise i have zero complaints about it another good thing is the speaker and my quality is pretty good as well i mean i tried calling indoors and had zero issues. So you can take those quick calls on the watch itself without much of an issue the health tracking is also fairly accurate whether it's heart rate or sleep tracking but it does slightly better than your average fitness trackers. Because it has that guided workout mode which really helps you with the workouts so i kind of like this about this watch.

App:

Now if you have a Samsung phone the integration is slightly better because you already have the Samsung account set up but even on any android phone. The galaxy variable app is going to work and it has really good features and a lot of customization options a lot of watch faces that you really come to expect for a smartwatch. So it won't disappoint you in that kind of customization and the app experience it's pretty good.

Software:

Now moving on let's talk about the software now mind you this is running on the tizen os or the google swear os. Now if you are not sure you can check out my detailed comparison post between the two. So you can have a better idea but at the end of the day Tizen os is also a respectable smartwatch os platform but the biggest downside is there is no NFC payment support yes. It has NFC hardware but it is not enabled by samsung in India for whatever reason it could be rba restrictions or legality issues.

But it's not available right now and that's disappointing also the bixby is a mixed bag. I would say i mean it does work it's not terrible I would say but I would prefer a google assistant slightly better than this. Now moving on another minor caveat is there is no back gesture you have to press the hardware buttons. This sounds like a very minor thing but on a day-to-day usage it could be a little annoying

Performance:

The more important thing is the performance don't expect it to rocket through the ui I mean it's not butter smooth. I wouldn't call it but it is decently good i would say things take a little time to respond but it is decently responsive also another downside of any smartwatch in general is the battery life. This can get you about one to one and a half days of battery life. Now, mind you this is not a fitness watch that can give you seven days ten days of battery life this is a proper smartwatch. So almost any smart watch wouldn't last more than a day and a day and a half so yeah keep that in mind.

Now if you didn't know samsung has already moved towards the google swear os with the latest lineup of their smartwatches. But samsung has committed to pushing the software updates for the next year or so but if you are really serious about buying this.
