Samsung unveiled a unique model of the Galaxy S10 in 2019, which became the first 5G smartphone in the world. After a little more than two years, mobile devices with compatibility for fifth-generation networks have taken over. Almost every maker has embarked on a journey to reduce the cost of 5G cellphones. Samsung is no exception, having announced the Galaxy A22 5G, the company's most cheap smartphone with fifth-generation network capabilities.

A 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, a 48MP triple camera configuration, and a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset are all included in the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, and operates on One UI software based on Android 11 OS. It also comes with a big 5000 mAh battery that enables 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G has a triple back camera module with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for capturing great details in photos and movies. Furthermore, the 8MP front camera captures natural selfies that can be swiftly shared on social media. A 6.6-inch FHD+ Infinity-V Display with a 90Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling on the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G. Furthermore, the device features a symmetrical smooth design with soft round edges for a perfect fit in the hands. When it comes to security, users can opt for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner or a face unlock option.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is equipped with a 2.2GHz 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor, as well as 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Samsung has released two new smartphones, the Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G. With the 5G version, Samsung just wants to compete with other manufacturers. Apart from the 5G, Samsung's two new smartphones have a few distinctions.

The 5G difference between the two smartphones isn't the only thing that separates them. The "basic" A22 sports a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 1,600 x 1,080 pixels. The Galaxy A22 has a length of 159 mm, a width of 74 mm, and a thickness of 8.4 mm. The weight of the item is 186 grammes. The main module of the Samsung Galaxy A22's triple camera is 48 megapixels. The A22's selfie camera is 13 megapixels, which puts it slightly ahead of the A22 5G. The A22's CPU is backed up by 4 GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery.

The A22 5G features a triple camera as well, although the selfie camera on this phone is only 8 megapixels. The 5G includes a 5,000 mAh battery and 4 GB of RAM, just like the A22. The CPU, on the other hand, runs at 0.2 GHz faster. Both phones come with a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and a headphone jack. Both include a fingerprint sensor in the power button, as well as Android 11.

Availability and pricing

The new Samsung cellphones will be available in conventional stores before the end of June. In the process, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G with 64 GB of storage should cost 229 euros, and the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G with 128 GB of storage should cost 249 euros.
