Perion Launches Ask Perion, Bringing Agentic AI to Campaign Planning and Performance Analysis

Perion launches Ask Perion, an AI-powered platform that streamlines campaign planning and performance insights.

Artificial intelligence is steadily changing the role of marketing platforms, shifting them from systems that present data to systems that help users act on it. Perion's latest product launch reflects that transition, introducing a conversational interface designed to simplify both campaign planning and performance management.

The company has unveiled Ask Perion, a new agentic experience within its Perion One platform that enables marketers to generate media plans and retrieve campaign insights using natural-language prompts. Accompanying the launch is the Ask Perion Mobile App, debuting at Cannes Lions 2026, which extends the platform's capabilities into a mobile-first environment and reinforces the company's broader push toward self-service advertising.

Reducing the Friction in Omnichannel Marketing

Managing campaigns across today's digital ecosystem often requires marketers to work with an expanding collection of channels, formats, and measurement tools. While those systems generate significant amounts of data, turning that information into decisions frequently involves time-consuming reporting and planning processes.

Perion's new offering is intended to remove some of that complexity.

At the core of Ask Perion are two AI-powered agents. The Insights Agent responds to questions about campaign performance, providing summaries of metrics including spend, delivery, pacing, creative performance, and channel activity. The Planning Agent focuses on campaign development, converting marketing briefs into structured, cross-channel media plans aligned with a client's objectives.

Together, the tools are designed to help marketers move more quickly from strategy to execution without relying on multiple disconnected applications.

Expanding Access Through Mobile

In addition to the desktop experience, Perion has introduced a dedicated mobile application that delivers the same AI-driven functionality on smartphones.

The app enables marketers to review campaign intelligence, build media plans, and access performance information while away from their desks. As marketing teams become increasingly distributed and responsive to real-time campaign developments, mobile access has become an important extension of enterprise software platforms.

By bringing planning and analytics together in one conversational interface, Perion is aiming to make campaign management both faster and more accessible.

More Than a Product Launch

For Perion, Ask Perion also represents a strategic investment in how its platform will evolve over the coming years.

The company describes the release as the first stage of a broader self-service execution model intended to give customers greater control while improving operational efficiency. Allowing marketers to independently retrieve insights and generate campaign plans could reduce manual support requirements while enabling campaigns to move from concept to launch more quickly.

Tal Jacobson, CEO of Perion, said the introduction of Ask Perion reflects a broader change in how marketers should engage with advertising technology. "Ask Perion is another step we're taking to serve marketers worldwide and help them reach their goals with minimum effort," he said, explaining that the platform moves marketers away from navigating complex interfaces and toward "simply asking questions and generating instant plans."

He added that the rollout marks "a significant step forward in our ongoing journey toward a self-serve execution model." According to Jacobson, the phased approach is designed to help customers achieve stronger ROI while streamlining Perion's own operational workflows and supporting the company's long-term growth ambitions through 2028.

AI Becomes the Interface

The launch highlights a broader shift taking place across marketing technology.

Rather than treating artificial intelligence as an analytical feature layered onto existing software, vendors are increasingly designing platforms where AI becomes the primary way users interact with data. Conversational interfaces are replacing traditional dashboards, allowing marketers to obtain recommendations, generate plans, and evaluate campaign performance through simple requests.

With Ask Perion, Perion is aligning itself with that direction. By combining campaign planning, performance intelligence, and mobile accessibility into a unified AI experience, the company is positioning its platform for a future in which marketers spend less time navigating software and more time acting on insights.
