OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z in-Ear Bluetooth Earphones with Mic Review

Introduction

Going wireless is the latest trend! Owning a wireless Bluetooth earphone these days has become more of a necessity than just an option.

Who doesn’t want to listen to music without wires getting tangled and taking calls without touching the phone? We all love doing it! Here in this article, we will be doing an in-depth review of the One Plus Wireless Z in-Ear Bluetooth Earphones that was launched in May 2020.

Without wasting much time let us dig deep into this review.

Description

OnePlus, needs no introduction since it is a popular flagship smartphone manufacturer that has gained popularity in these recent years. OnePlus’s has developed a philosophy of offering a unique product experience at a competitive price, and thus that is when this brand launched the One Plus Wireless Z. This is one of the best budget Bluetooth pair of earphones.

Sound Quality

One Plus Z gives a well-balanced sound output with that perfect mix of treble and bass. Even at a louder volume, there is no sound distortion, but it is advisable to hear music at a moderate volume. The highs are present, but definitely lacking in the crispness and definition that can be heard from the earlier versions of OnePlus wireless earphones. But looking at the price these are available for this can be ignored.

These earphones do leave out the high-quality Bluetooth codecs such as aptX HD and LDAC. You only get AAC and SBC codecs which is a turndown. For what it’s worth is that these OnePlus earphones do support the Low Latency mode on OnePlus devices through the phones’ Fnatic gaming mode.

Call quality is something that the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z has excelled in with great noise isolation from your end. Callers will not even understand that you are using Bluetooth wireless earphones.

Noise Isolation

The Bullets Wireless Z offers excellent passive noise isolation. Just plugging in the earphones will fairly bar out the outside noise, even the humming of a ceiling fan. Once you start playing music, it’s difficult to make out of what’s going on around you. To achieve the perfect isolation, it’s necessary that you choose amongst the different ear tips available.

Design & Comfort

Once you glance at these earphones you immediately understand that these are premium built earphones with angled ear tips. The earpieces are magnetic and can be attached together to prevent tangling.

The in-line controls are easy to reach and can be used to adjust volume, play/pause/change tracks, and receive/dismiss calls. The Bullets Wireless Z are amazingly comfortable because of their lightweight design and can be worn for hours without irritating your ears. Their ergonomic design provides the perfect snug fit that doesn’t drop off out during workouts.

Battery Life

The OnePlus Wireless Z lives up to its claim of a marathon battery life. It offers up to 20 hours of playback time when you charge it once. It also supports the OnePlus warp charge feature which lets you charge the earphones in just 10 minutes and continue using up to 10 hours. The most incredible feature is that in this price bracket you get Type C supported charging facility.

Connectivity

These earphones offer a Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and are even compatible with the older Bluetooth versions. The signal range is excellent, as you would expect from any Bluetooth 5.0 audio accessory. You will not suffer from music or call drop or showing a loss of clarity even if you roam around the different parts of your house.

Although OnePlus does offer a low-latency mode for a reduced lag gaming experience. But unfortunately, it is only available on its own phones using the Fnatic mode, which is available on the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 7 series, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 6T, and One Plus 6 as well.
