My BIGGEST Mistake- Elon Musk

If there is anything the American people are addicted to more than the Kardashians and everyday celebrities, it's the one percent of America. Whether it's inspiration or jealousy, there is nothing more captivating than what time Bill Gates goes to sleep. How many people do you think go to bed at that time because of this?

According to Fox Business, Elon Musk has officially relocated Tesla operations to Texas from California. Musk is no stranger to controversy and breaking barriers. People are so afraid of doing what they want because they don't know if they will fail or if things will work out. In my opinion, the reason the rich get richer is not due to just talent or skill. It is the grit and motivation to do better, to be better. There are so many smart people on this planet, but there are few who think outside of the box and are willing to put in the work to be the next Musk or Bezos.

Remember first they criticize, then they admire.

Due to Tesla's stock prices which continue to rise, Elon Musk is the second richest person in America after Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon. Musk told Wall Street Journal editor in chief Matt Murray during the CEO Council Annual Summit on Tuesday that not only has he moved to Texas but he has big factory developments outside Austin and Starship Development in South Texas. Tesla as well as SpaceX, his aerospace operations, will continue to run in California.

The Starship development is in regards to Elon Musk's plans to take human to Mars where he is creating a spaceship and rocket system. While the developments near Austin will be Tesla's Giga Texas which will be used to build Tesla's Cybertruck, Semi, and Model 3 and Y for the East side of the US.

These are big plans for Musk. The move to Texas is smart due to California's notorious chase of income taxes. Texas has no personal income tax so Musk would have a shot at avoiding a 13.3% income tax saving millions on his taxes. Because the rich get richer right? It's hard to say whether people like Musk are to be loved or hated. But when you are that wealthy, who cares if you're liked right?

In an CNBC article written by Jade Scipioni, Elon Musk says the biggest problem with corporate America today is to0 many business school graduates. Frankly, I agree. If you're going to be the next Musk that is. Musk claims these MBA graduates running companies are always looking at numbers and are at board meetings when they should be more focus on the product or service itself.

Every company needs those people going to college and running the numbers for them and working for the person who prefers to be focusing on the product. You look at the recent new money billionaires, and you'll be surprised by how many never finished college. They knew they would be able to eventually hire those who did.

According to the CNBC articles, Musk's greatest mistake as CEO of Tesla and SpaceX was "spending too much time in meetings looking at PowerPoints and spreadsheets, instead of being out on the factory floor." Not only did this boost team morale but if you connect with those products so will your consumers. That is one reason why Musk is as wealthy and successful as he is. Your product or service is nothing without people who want and need it. People like Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg understand this. As much as we know Bezos could be paying his workers more and could be practicing things unethically, but we still order from Amazon because we need that two day shipping. We know Facebook could be selling our information but we still go on Instagram everyday.

If they can do it, why can't you? Create your product or offer your services. Pay your workers. Be environmentally sustainable. If you can help people and do it in an ethical fashion, what's to stop you from becoming the next Musk or Gates? At least try. There's no point in worshipping these rich people if you aren't praying for yourself.
