Leadership with Titles vs Leadership without Titles……

Here is a question about leadership in both forms: “Is it, good leadership if we divide people by their abilities? Or is it better if we gave them a chance to prove their abilities?"

Another one: “Is it leadership to say “no” to people just by, (I don’t know) looking at their resume or even at them? Or will it be better to lead them by example and see for yourself what they are capable of?”

Leadership with titles allows people to think that they are better than anyone else in the workforce. Having a title gives them the privilege, the power to pick their employees that they see fit. Will that keep their company going?

While Leadership without titles allows people to be treated equally and fairly. Even people with disabilities are given a fair chance in working. Just think about it! You don’t have to have a title to be a good leader.

If you want your business to reach the highest goal in the workforce, why not try to lead by setting a good example, such as having a good relationship with your employees.

Leading without a title is like a moth to a flame! Think about it! If you could lead without the privilege, the power and the attitude and just being positive and kind to the employees they will come to you with open arms and want to do better because of your example.

What does leading with a title give you? Well, you may say, it gives me privileges, more money, prestige and power. But here is my question; “but does it make you happy?” Does it give you joy?” And again, you may yes it does. And so, I ask another question; “but for how long?”

I’m not saying that you don’t deserve those things, if you work hard for them, of course you deserve them. Just don’t let go to your head. Don’t get attached to them. If you do, you will surely loose them all and then what?

What if you just enjoy what you are doing and at the same time you are learning something new every day in your role. You take pride in what you are doing. Wouldn’t that be great! All you must do is to lead by example, showing kindness and positivity in your work.

The rewards in that sort of leadership are bountiful and more than you can ever hope for. If you go into work each day thinking this way, people from all forms will come looking to work for you.

They know that they will be treated fairly and equally. They know that their leader is a fair leader and will do anything to keep them. The people will also know that they will be happy and willing to do what you ask of them.

Another question I would like to ask; “Is it hard for some leaders to show some kindness to their staff? Would they think it is a weakness?”

Well, most probably the leaders around the world would probably say “yes, it is hard and yes it shows weakness.” To that response, I’ll have to strongly disagree to kindness being a weakness. However, it is also hard to do, as we as humans in a modern society are not wired up in a way. So, we need to change that and work hard on being kind to people in a working environment

There are so many people, including people with disabilities who are looking for the right environment for them to work in. However, and it is a shame that there aren’t hardly environments that are suitable for people with disabilities or even the people who wants to be treated fairly.

For the Leaders with Titles there are so many ways and resources out there to change your habits in your workforce. For one, read books on good leaderships such as Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jn. Listen to motivational talks on your phone, while walking and driving to be a better leader.

Not only this will improve your business, but you as a human being too. Leading without a title is the only way to a better world and it starts with all of us. Employers and employees.
