Gift ideas for the avid reader
If you’re looking for the perfect gift for the reader in your life, look no further! Here is a list of some ideas to kick off shopping for your avid book reader!
A Kindle: For the person who loves to read, a Kindle is a perfect gift. It’s lightweight and portable, so they can take their books with them wherever they go. Plus, with Amazon’s huge selection of books, they’re sure to find something they’ll love.
2. A Good Book: Sometimes the best gift is a good book. Whether it’s a classic they’ve been meaning to read or the latest bestseller, a book is a gift that will keep on giving.
3. A Bookworm Membership: For the person who wants to read more, a bookworm membership is a perfect gift. They’ll get access to a huge selection of books, both new and old, and will be able to try out different genres to find what they like. Plus, they’ll get access to exclusive deals and discounts on books!
4. A Membership to the Book of the Month club. Honestly, if I hadn’t just tried this out (because it’s only $5 right now) this wouldn’t have made the list. But being as I’m an author AND an avid book reader myself, I tried it. I got my first book a few days ago and the feeling I got knowing a new book was coming (for way less than the price for a new release) I could hardly contain my excitement. I’d suggest this if you have $49.99 as an option. Right now the price for new members is $5 for their first month. However, gifting options don’t include the $5. The lowest option is $49.99 (which I believe is 3 months for the giftee). If you know someone who likes books and loves book mail, then I recommend this option.
5. I took the liberty to scour the internet and a bunch of my book groups for some recommendations for the book reader in some select categories. I hope this helps you find something perfect!
