They claim it goes against their culture and morals

On Tuesday a group petitioned the parliament of Kenya asking for them to ban the TikTok application in the country. They're claim is about the fast growing popularity of the app, they also claim it goes against Kenyan morals and culture. They also claim it shows sexual acts to Kenyan users.
I've written several times that the content on my African TikTok accounts show different information than the one that seems to have me pinned as inside the United States. Since I have not left the states lately due to medical issues, one account though has not changed to my location. I can't even find some of the American accounts I follow on my other TikTok
You can check out what I've written, especially with regards to propaganda and misinformation, which is spread to African Sim card users and those located in African countries. Very much pro-China and pro-Putin content, with mocking hatred of Western powers.
Petitioner wants Parliament to ban use of TikTok in Kenya
A petitioner has called on Members of Parliament to ban the use of popular social media application TikTok saying it is a contributor to erosion of cultural and religious morals in the society.
The Executive Officer of Bridget Connect Consultancy Bob Ndolo in a petition to the National Assembly on Tuesday, called on MPs to move with speed and ban the use of TikTok in the country as it is exposing young people to explicit sexual content.
The petitioner decries that while the use of the application has gained popularity among the youth in the country, the content being shared on the platform is inappropriate thus promoting violence, explicit sexual content, hate speech, vulgar language, and offensive behaviours which is a serious threat to cultural and religious values
He says the internet in Kenya is not regulated by the Communications
Authority of Kenya hence it is difficult to regulate the content being uploaded on TikTok.
Mr Ndolo in his petition savs TikTok has invaded the privacy of even children thereby creating scandals. He warned that if the App is not banned in Kenya, its addictive nature would lead to a decline of academic performance and rise in mental issue such as depression, anxiety and sleep deprivation among the youth.
I do agree it shows violence, which I don't understand how, my account is always violated even if there is no violence. There are acts that I would never expect to see on the app shared by users from many African countries.
If you follow Kenya news and life in Kenya, there has long been decay in their morals and values. In Homa Bey Kenya rape of women and children is a huge issue, an issue that recently revealed a growing spread of HIV in that area.
Teenaged pregnancy is also rising, before the popularity of TikTok.
According to Statista there are 10.5 million Kenyans using social media, there are 53 million Kenyans in the country.
10.5 million
As of January 2023, the number of social media users in Kenya stood at 10.5 million, marking the third highest volume in the period observed. Compared to 2014, the country had roughly three times more social media users in 2023
The number of social media users in Kenya at the start of 2023 was equivalent to 19.3 percent of the total population, but it's also important to note that social media users may not represent unique individuals (see our detailed notes on data to learn why).
So according to the petitioners logic the 19.3 % of the country are going to ruin the entire morality of the country. This makes no sense what so ever.
By the way according to many Kenyans there is no such thing as cheating within a marriage, since Kenyan men can legally have as many wives as they want. (without their wives ever knowing)
One Kenyan politician is a baby momma but Kenyans call her a co-wife, she's not even married to the man.
Polygamy has long ago deteriorated the morals of Kenyans, men think there is no need to be loyal to a woman, use them just for sex and make babies. As statistics show polygamist families live in higher rate of poverty than monogamists households.
