The industrial production system

The industrial production system in today's world is almost entirely dependent on information and communication technology. Information and communication technology is somehow involved in everything from the beginning of the manufacture of any product to the design, procurement, use, marketing of the product. Computers are the main collaborators of people in industries. The use of information technology in the field of equipment design, equipment control, etc. has brought considerable success.

Telecommunication Services in the System of Production: Nowadays the production system of any industry cannot be imagined without telecommunication. Large, medium or small scale industries require communication with different people at different stages, including people involved in different stages from raw material supplier to buyer of the product. The telecommunication system is playing an important role in coordinating the production system. Many industries have services for internal communication.

Production system Internet: Industrial system without internet is useless today. The Internet is used to send mail to different people for different purposes. If a company has more than one production plant, various Internet-based systems are used to coordinate production issues with them. There are many groups of companies whose organizations are located at different distances and they may even be scattered in different parts of the world. In that case, starting from the owner of the company to the senior officers, it is not always possible to go to all the places physically and supervise. In this case, the Internet-based technology helps to maintain the control over the organization by bridging the distance. The Internet-based surveillance system allows you to directly monitor the activities and production processes of multiple companies from the head office. Establishment officials get this facility through video watching, video conferencing, video chatting etc. of various installations of the factory while sitting away. Many of these industries have their own BISAT system in place, especially those that have set up their plants in remote areas.

Use of CAD / CAM: The use of computer aided design CAD has removed the conventional sketches and engineer drawings, used to visualize products and communicate with design information and has replaced computer graphics in that space. Designs are transformed into finished products. Computer aided manufacturing computers assist managers, manufacturing engineers and production workers by automating a variety of manufacturing activities.

Data Collection: Information technology is used to collect various data to maintain a conducive working environment in industrial plants. The computer collects a wide variety of data, including the speed, frequency, temperature, amount of chemicals used, their flow, density, etc., used in the equipment and processes them through the computer.

Product quality control: The quality of the products produced in the mills can be verified by computer. In addition, computers can be used to monitor whether the equipment used in production is working properly. Machinery is controlled with the help of computer in various chemical factories, steel factories, power plants etc. In these centers the pressure and temperature of the instrument need to be controlled properly. The decision can be made by measuring all the physical quantities of the computer and based on that.

Use of robots in industry: Robotics is widely used in computer aided manufacturing. In the industry, robotic work is done with the help of hard physical work, more risky, dangerous and complex tasks. In particular, the use of robots in car and vehicle manufacturing factories, miners, welding factories, heavy lifting, assembling any parts, etc. is noticeable.

Video Conferencing with Buyers: It is possible to have any kind of meeting through video conferencing to inform them about the quality of the product through video conferencing. As a result, it is possible to communicate with buyers without going to a foreign country. Suppose a company buyer is another country. Here the people of the company are able to communicate with the buyers without going to that country through video conferencing. Through video conferencing, you can have meetings with the buyers at any time about various issues of production.

In conclusion, it can be said that ICT contributes a lot to the production system. As a result, the cost of traveling abroad is decreasing as the manufacturing company is wasting less time.
