For Windows 11, the minimum system requirements are:

  • CPU: 1 GHz, two-core minimum on a supported 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC)
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Storage: 64 GB
  • System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable
  • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) v2.0

  • Display: High definition (720p) display that is greater than nine inches diagonally, 8 bits per color channel
  • Internet connection and Microsoft accounts: Windows 11 Home edition requires internet connectivity and a Microsoft account to complete device setup on first use; Switching a device out of Windows 11 Home in S mode also requires internet connectivity; For all Windows 11 editions, internet access is required to perform updates and to download and take advantage of some features. A Microsoft account is required for some features.

Although the greatest hurdle for old computers is TPM 2.0, while most of these requirements are reasonable. A TPM is a specialist chip integrated into a motherboard or built into the processor, which provides the system with hardware-based encryption. Even in its early stage, this module should be able to use Windows 11.

When is the official release of Windows 11?

The hard release date hasn't been shared by Microsoft yet, but it confirmed plans to start the holiday upgrades. However, that may not mean all. The official Microsoft Twitter account has expanded, explaining that qualifying devices are upgraded during that holiday but are ongoing throughout the first half of 2022. You only need to sign up for Windows Insider to download an initial version to ensure that you do not have to wait to try out Windows 11 yourself. This is totally free and today is possible.

Step-by-Step

The following steps will help you to update a system currently running Windows 10.

1. Prepare and backup your PC 1.

It is always wise to back up and prepare your PC before you undertake any major software update. Note that System Restauration is deactivated after a major upgrade for Windows so that you have another way of protecting your PC. Backup your PC can be accomplished by storing all of your important data in the cloud using an external disc. Western Digital's My Book is our top choice of 2021's best external hard drives and contains free backup software to sync your selected drives automatically. We recommend iDrive Personal as a convenient and affordable cloud-based option for system backups to provide an all-digital solution.

We also advise you to ensure your system is up-to-date with the latest Microsoft system updates before further progress. To do this, click on the gear icon and select the Settings. The menu Start can be opened. Choose Update & Security in the window that opens, then Windows Update, and click Check Update. Allow the download and installation of any required updates by Windows.

This way, make sure that your system BIOS enables TPM 2.0 and secure boot. If not, you cannot download Windows 11. You can't.

2. Register for Dev Channel Windows Insider

Since Windows 11 is not yet officially published, Windows Insider is the only way to access it. Early access to updates, including complete versions of the operating system is provided. You must link your Microsoft account to the Dev Channel to download the Windows Insider Preview, opening a door to the earliest current downloadable updates. The other channels have not yet made Windows 11 available.

Click the gear icon to log in, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click on update & security and then on the left side of the menu, select the Windows Insider programme. You can also check the 'Settings for the Windows Insider Program' menu from the Start menu and click Enter to save time. To link to your favourite Microsoft Account click "Get Started." To finish the process, reboot your PC.

Return the Windows Insider menu once you have rebooted and click "Release Preview Channel." You should now see Beta Channel and Dev Channel options if your PC is compatible and both TPM and Secure Boot are enabled. To return to the previous screen, select Dev Channel and press the Back button.

3. Windows 11 Insider Preview update your PC.

You should now be able to download Windows 11 when you are signed up for the Dev Channel. From the menu on the left, select Window Update and click on Updates check. The Windows 11 Insider Preview should appear as a new entry. Install and download the update. Update.

Depending on your internet connection and PC, this can take several hours. After that, your system prompts you to restart the PC and carry on the installation process. Be sure to plug in your AC adapter now if you run on a laptop.

4. Restart the installation and complete it

After your PC is restarted, the installation process will continue. A blue display will show you the installation percentage you are receiving. Depending on your PC, this can take 20 minutes or more and it will take some time. Your PC reboots and picks up where it left off several times. During installation, don't stop your PC because it can fail to install.

5. Good luck with Windows 11!

You are done once your installation percentage is 100% and your processes are completed! A new login screen will be displayed to your desktop. All your files, programmes and desktop icons should be intact if you have upgraded from Windows 10. If you notice that anything is missing, the backup you've created at the start should be safe. The current desktop looks different from Windows 10. The Start menu is now centralised and the Taskbar is fresh and modern in its appearance.

There's plenty to enjoy in Windows 11, but you still don't have an early version, remember. Some bugs or graphical breakdowns are normal. For example, after installation, all our custom Taskbar shorts had to be repinned and re-spinned. Check for updates frequently when releasing bug fixes for Microsoft. You can easily reinstall Windows 10 using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool to download a free installation file, if you have a major problem or simply choose Windows 11 is not for you.

When it comes to installing windows 11, a very important aspect is the legality of the operating system. If you are looking for a cheaper license, I recommend this online store: https://royalcdkeys.com/products/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-2-2022-cross-gen-edition-us-ps4-5-cd-key
