As more and more people, institutions and companies adopt cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and other alt coins or tokens in our modern world this simply means we are very much approaching a new era where digital assets are becoming the norm. With this in mind, it is time for the world to know what platform to use to trade cryptocurrencies while being mindful of the fees that surround each and every digital asset exchange. For instance, if you want to buy cryptocurrency using your fiat currency (any of the paper currency the world currently has or is able to print more) then you can easily do so by getting verified first on an exchange such as gate, kucoin, binance, crypto, okcoin and gemini. You can also use my referral links down below to get a sign-up bonus!

So, you’re probably wondering which one of these exchanges to use and what are the pros and cons of each one. Let me start off with Gate.

Gate is similar to all the other exchanges I’ve mentioned when it comes to trading (and more) cryptocurrencies but the only difference is they have more cryptocurrency/token to choose from compared to the rest, have built in wallet where you can deposit crypto from an external wallet or using fiat currency https://www.gate.io/en/buy_crypto or withdraw crypto to an external wallet. They also have some awesome charts with indicators which can help us with our trades, options to choose from such as borrowing (not recommended for beginners), lending and more (feel free to check out the app to know more).

On the other hand, Binance has only some of the best cryptocurrencies in the market but on the plus side you can sell your cryptocurrencies & withdraw them directly to your bank similar to crypto exchange, has a really helpful chart with indicators, built in wallet where you can deposit crypto from an external wallet or using fiat currency and withdraw crypto out of Binance to an external wallet or sold as USD and be withdrawn directly to the bank.

Crypto has a little bit more variety to choose from and they also have the option of staking cryptocurrency which simply means you can earn rewards for helping run the network through staking compared to Binance where the only thing you can do is trade cryptocurrency.

Kucoin is pretty similar to Crypto (and a little bit like Gate) where you can stake cryptocurrency and even lend cryptocurrency to gain passive income, trade cryptocurrencies and it also has charts with indicators.

Okcoin doesn't have much crypto to choose from unlike all the other crypto exchanges I've mentioned. But it is still worth checking out especially if you want to know what exchange works best for you.

I've tried every single one of these exchange for myself and I'm still using Gate, Kucoin and Binance for diversification purpose and other benefits of having more than one trading platform. Since Gate has a lot of other crypto compared to Kucoin & Binance while Binance helps me quickly sell & withdraw my crypto if I ever want to cash out. I've slowly transferred my crypto assets from one to the other while keeping in mind high market volatility and fees. I recommend converting your assets to Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, Tron, EOS, XRP or Nano as these have the lowest transaction/withdrawal/deposit fees according to https://www.fool.com/investing/2018/03/30/which-cryptocurrencies-have-the-lowest-transaction.aspx

But feel free to do your own research as well, there might be other crypto worth looking into in terms of low fees.

Now let me talk about Gemini, the exchange platform is similar to Okcoin because of the fact that there are not much cryptocurrency selection and Kucoin because of your option to earn interest on a few select crypto currency you can lend/stake. You pretty much have the option to trade or just HODL (Hold On for Dear Life) to earn income in either the short or long term.

Blockfi is another ok crypto exchange which I actually haven't used yet but have an account with. They give you the option to earn interest on your crypto such as stablecoins which are pegged to the USD or other stable asset such as gold meaning their price is not affected much by the high volatility of the market. Blockfi doesn't have much crypto asset to choose from.

If you want to get into gaining profits from passive income instead of dealing with the hassle/pressure from trading then you can also try Celsius. They have both stable coins & cryptocurrencies you can put your money in and you gain APY on them. You can buy using your debit card, credit card or transfer crypto from an exchange/external wallet directly to Celsius to start earning interest on them. They only have a few selection of crypto so be sure to check them out first before you decide to make a move.

And as I was saying before about more and more people, institutions such as banks & other companies are adopting cryptocurrencies; well it is true according to my online resources down below some of the biggest retailers/banks such as Microsoft, Home Depot, Subway, Tesla, Daymak, Paypal, JP Morgan Chase, Citi Bank are already accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment/investment option. Also, I want to simply add that Daymak Spiritus even has a built in cryptocurrency mining software/hardware and it runs on solar/renewable energy. Mining cryptocurrency is another way you can earn passive income and I've recently invested in a Bobcat Miner Hotspot which provides internet to the people and in return you can earn Helium (HNT) which is going for $15/coin right now. Unlike mining Bitcoin, Ethereum or Chia which tend use a lot of electricity and GPU/ASIC or Hardrive power, mining Helium only requires 5W from having that hotspot up and running. Feel free to take a lot at the links down below for more information about mining, lending/staking, and sign up bonuses!

I’m not a financial advisor so I can’t be held responsible for telling you what to buy or sell since this is all for informational/educational purpose only. But what I can tell you is check out www.coinmarketcap.com for the top 10-20 and some of the top 100 (at most 200-300) cryptocurrencies and further do your research on them by checking out either the white paper or websites of each crypto you choose to know more about the project. And remember, don’t invest what you can’t afford to possibly lose.
