Are you looking for some healthy holiday recipes to make? Whether you are entertaining a small group of people or hosting a large gathering; my recommendations will provide you with several options without people worrying about the calories.

Though this time of the year is a time most people enjoy decorating and shopping; many individuals tend to get stressed out about what to make for a party.
At the same time, many people aren’t prepared and tend to overindulge. Well, you can still indulge but eat healthier. So, I have come up with some of my favorite appetizers and entrees for you to serve without a lot of sugar.
So, are you ready to begin?
Crispy Bacon Wrapped Dates
Crispy Bacon Wrapped Dates Recipe
Ingredients:
1 – 2 Package of Dates (or more if you are having a large number of people)
1/2 – 1 pound of Turkey or Chicken Bacon
1 – 2 cloves of garlic
1 Jalapeno pepper or red pepper flakes (optional)
Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
To make, add the garlic, salt, and pepper to add to the dates.
Next, slice a Jalapeno pepper and wrap a little piece around the date. Also, you can dice this into small pieces and add them to kick up the heat.
Assemble the dates on a baking sheet. Next, wrap a slab of bacon around the date. Finally, slice a Jalapeno pepper and wrap a little piece around the date.
Finally, place this in the oven for 10 -15 minutes.
Make sure you keep turning so your dates don’t overcook.
Cherry Brie Bites
When you are looking for something festive to serve your guests; these cherry bites are ideal.
Ingredients:
1 Jar of Dark Reserve Cherries
1 Package of Party Cups
1 8-ounce package of Brie or Goat Cheese
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Directions:
Place the cherries and cheese in the cups and serve as is.
Also, you can add a bit of festive air with some fresh green mint.
Butternut Squash Phyllo Cup
In addition, you can also make squash phyllo cups.
To make this, all you need is
Squash,
Phyllo or party cups,
Olive oil;
Fresh sage.

Directions:
First and foremost, roast or bake your squash. Remove all seeds. Next, put all ingredients into a phyllo cup and bake for about 15 – 20 minutes at 425.
Top with fresh sage. However, if you want to make your sage crispy; you can put this on before baking.

To make, something colorful and festive; use fresh berries or strawberries sliced.
Use some fresh mint or green grapes sliced to have this tree look bright.
