Happy New Year 2023

Now it’s 2023/ Time to dead the too many petty beefs/ New year, new vibes, a new high and it means everything/ No need to sugarcoat reality for me I know what I already see/ Watched the ball drop/ Last year many rappers may have refined what you call hot/ Now it’s all about staying relevant, having fun for the hell of it like party addicts that make they neighbors call cops/ Went to the Winter Village/ Me and the fam we entered in it/ It was fun when we rode the go karts/ People of all ages there, don’t matter how old, all take part/ Not putting out a written piece is like an artist that won’t show no art/ Watch how things unfold, shine your light in 23 like a glow in the dark/ I think they played out, New Year’s resolutions/ Not making really any for the new year, except to make more money and restitution/ Don’t get drunk, wild out and end up in central booking/ When the ball drops in Times Square, it’s popping and special looking/ Peep the 23 hats, champagnes in people’s hands/ We crossing over, all lost in the nostalgia of a new year and many aren’t sober man/ The 23 light up glasses and blowers/ Better blow on it really hard when it’s 12 midnight, we done moved boulders/ Took all the hardship and darkness, we soldiers/ It’s always an epic countdown/ When you watching the ball drop on tv, to God I’m indebted so I shout loud/ In Ghana they call it bronya/ Celebration of the new year, also used for Christmas, we greet afehyia pa/ Yeah, in Ghana we welcome you with Akwaaba/ That’s in Ga land at the international airport called Kotoka/ Somewhere in the capital city of Ghana/ The big city, we call it Accra/ Ghana’s NYC, Happy Year to y’all/ They went into 2023 before the US did, hours after night fall/ They ahead by 5 hours/ Praying and professing good things for the new year, they up, not downward/ It’s the witches and demons that got tight/ Due to them fasting and praying, hot prayers at church during watch night/ For the cross over, sowing seeds, putting money on the alter is all about getting to the top in life/ Hearing the pastor prophecy and worshipers testify to the Lord’s greatness, in this life we got to fight/ Keep pushing, keep persisting/ Don’t give up, the new year will be better for you, in 2023 need a business/ That’s profitable enough for us to stop working 9 to 5 at least & actualize a vision/ It’s all about living comfortable/ We don’t wanna barely be getting by, settling for less and quietly having to suffer the bull/ 2023 we pray for more money, more happiness/ More enjoyment, more peace, more contentment and less stress/ Financial stability is the goal, let me get it off my chest/ In this world we still battling against desires of the flesh/ But what can one do when they’re in this world, it’s constantly a test/ We will be tempted everyday of our lives until we kick the bucket, bet/ No way out of it, except until we die/ Until then we’ll be going through it/ Time to stop procrastinating and making excuses/ If there’s something you been wanting to do, just do it/ Follow your heart, follow your dreams and pursue it/ Forward ever, backwards never, let’s move it/ Time is wasting, don’t delay and be stupid/ Same applies to me, I’m not exempted/ I meant it/ Making it in 2023 will be epic/ No drama, we don’t want it hectic/ We want big cheques to hit/ Let’s get it/
