When I did a lot of photographic and video work, I had a collection large enough that the perfect hard drive was a paperweight. After 10 years of external hard drive, I formatted the Mac OS in an extended file system that can be read by any Apple computer.

My product use cases include using many Office 365 applications, Web search with 10 Edge browser, for example, and a video conference with Team Zoom and WebEx. My MacBook Pro took 44 hours to copy 15 terabytes to a drive. If I continue to use another hard drive, I will have to purchase a new blank hard drive and use a program like my MacBooks Carbon Copy Cloner to copy messages from older hard drives to another EXFAT readable format.

The beta version of Office 365 applications improved the user experience compared to the M1 when launched. The apps feel soft on the Surface Laptop 3. I can’t explain whether the MacBook Air handles better with sound or not, but it’s not a fan. Windows has made great strides in integrating apps into mobile devices.

macOS computers work similarly to Apple mobile products such as the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Users can switch from Apple desktop to mobile devices and benefit from integrated design language and shortcut device tools such as Siri and Apple Pay, as well as compatible functionality with Apple accounts and apps like Message. Macs can work with Windows, and macOS-like tools like VMware provide additional flexibility for those who love macOS functions but need access to specific Windows software.

Apple Continuity is a lovely example of how PC and phone are integrated, capable of capturing texts, answering calls, and answering texts on both devices on a Mac.

Mac Handoff For iPhone Users, the Mac has an easy-to-use app called "Get on your phone" that lets you access Android or iOS apps and messages from your laptop. If your phone is an active iOS device, its functionality is limited to sending web pages from your phone to your PC. Chrome on any device Chrome browser on desktop includes advanced Flash applications and Java.

Apple controls the game when it comes to the technology environment, and is careful not to forget the Mac user. As a Mac user, you have access to AirDrop, iMessage, FaceTime, the App Store, and many other apps that help you connect all your Apple devices with a seamless experience. Windows users do not have to leave their homes as they have access to cloud storage such as Google Drive and OneDrive, which allows storage on multiple devices.

Both Windows and Mac apps have many options to extend their usefulness in life, but for many, they can be detrimental and time-consuming. Apple users have the opportunity to use NetApp, an all-in-one subscription service that provides access to more than 150 Mac apps to help users enrich their digital lives compared to PC and Mac software.

There are many important things to consider when deciding between MacBooks and Windows notebooks, from software information to the number of devices available in the ecosystem. Both Windows and Apple laptops have their advantages and disadvantages, and your choice between these depends on your preferences and which platform best suits your other devices. The main difference between Windows and Apple laptops is in software and user experience.

Mac and PC devices have moved away from each other 15 years ago, but their software is still very different. Windows 10, the most popular app, is available on all types of devices, from low-end textbooks to high-end gaming devices from a variety of manufacturers.

Macs are part of Apple's larger ecosystem, including iPhone, iPads, watchOS (Apple Watch), and tvOS (Apple TV). All platforms have the same apps designed to work on their own. Notes, iMessage, calendars, photos, and data are stored in Cloud Drive, syncing across devices, and all apps are built into the app.

The best thing you can do if you are only worried about which platform has the right list of apps and personal needs are to write down the apps you need for school or work and check that the software works on Windows or macOS. If you are concerned about software transfers to the site, you do not need to be.

Most software also supports both apps so you never know if you will be a victim of either side or the other side if you can find the platform you like. Don't worry, we won't be going through all the Windows laptops and desktops on the market today. Not only are these devices bad, but all Mac products have their drawbacks and since Apple is the only company that produces MacOS-based Hardware, you need to accept it at the expense of switching to macOS.

All in all, I think the MacBook Air M1, MacBook Pro m1, Surface Laptop 3, and Surface Book 3 are excellent devices that work well in most systems. They surpass their MacBook Pro counterparts in applications, tools, compatibility, touch screen display, pin connectors, camera quality, biometric login functions, and more. The differences between them are listed in detail below for each program you want.

Macs tend to add new features to their builds more often than PCs. As one of the manufacturers of its products, Apple has introduced new features such as USB-C, but as Macs users are younger, they make sure their products work with Windows software.
