Acer Nitro ED270 Monitor

With its FULL HD 1080p resolution, Acer's ED270 27" curved panel monitor is amazing. This compatible AMD FreeSYNC monitor provides you with more of what you would like in a gaming experience. Free gameplay, smooth, tear! The maximum possible capacity of Unleash gaming to offer richer colors far beyond previous possibilities. Crisp, true to the colors of life, comes alive with a stunning 1920 x 1080 resolution that enables you to enjoy the comfort of your home. The wide view angle technology allows you to share with friends and family what is on your screen as colors stay true regardless of which angle. Awesome 100, 000, 000: 1 contrast ratio and quick response time make your games, work and films look as epic as possible.

There are many cheap 27-inch game monitors with refresh rates over 60 Hz, and FreeSync, available at less than $300. But most use twisted-nematic (TN) panels from old-school. As the technology has progressed, most users prefer an enhanced view of the IPS or a higher vertical alignment contrast (VA). These screens are priced higher, but there are some progress here. We now check out Acer's RG270, bringing IPS to $250 (£189.99), at a low price point.

Visual Response Boost (VRB), a response to the ULMB option found in many G-Sync monitors, is its most unique feature. It is an artificial backlight strobe designed to reduce black frames in motion by effectively turning the panel into a CRT or plasma screen display. We found, however, that more negative than positive was brought about.

Give yourself this ultra fast 240 Hz refresh rate monitor a competition in eSports gaming. The 27" monitor also has an immersive, crystal clear visible VA screen and full HD resolution. Dual HDMI and one DisplayPort entry are played nicely with the latest game desktops and consoles. And for added convenience a speaker is built in.

Quality Visuals: A superb, high quality images with outstanding detail are provided by the Nitro ED270 25" monitor with a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The zero-frame design eliminates the thick frames on conventional monitors, which give you precious screen space to look from one edge to the other.

Rapid Refresh Rate: The refreshing rate of 240Hz accelerates the frame per second to provide ultra smooth 2D motion scenes. Acer Monitors shorter the time required for the frame rendering, lower input lag and provide an excellent gaming experience for gamers with a rapid 240Hz refreshing rate.

1ms Visual Response Boost: The VRB technology produces 1ms MPRT effect (Moving Picture Response Time). This is done by switching off the backlight or inserting a black and blinded picture between pictures. This causes less blur in the rapidly changing colors.

Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor

True colors, real speed: New, quick IPS technology helps to keep picture clear from every viewpoint on the screen. Moreover, you have a wide array of colors with a coverage of up to 99 percent sRGB color.

Best of both: a 24,5-inch monitor in combination with a native FHD 1080p resolution offers the best pixel-per-inch ratio, thus making details clearer and lifelike images, making the 24,5" form-factor an ideal size for high-speed games.

Stay in a game state with a unique new game-centered menu, with a simple dashboard, pre-set modes, an FPS counter with guidelines for a multi-screen setup.

In its so-called Lunar Light color scheme (Model AW2521HFL), the AlienwFare 25 is white and black, as are recent Aurora desktops from Alienware (as well as the Sony PlayStation 5). The 25-inch screen is flat and has little or no bezel with just three edges of a thin black strip. The logo Alienware features a narrow black band on the bottom edge.

In the back, the majority of the monitor has white plastic, black ports and on the joint that connects the stand to the screen. The black inserts. It's an impressive look, and a nice way away from most monitors, often boxy, in black looks, even many elite gamers.

The screen is a 1.920-by-1.080 pixel Fast IPS panel with adaptive synchronization capabilities for both Nvidia G-Sync compatible and AMD FreeSync. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) signal is not supported. It's rated for a maximum 240Hz refresh rate as noted earlier. It's not as high as desktop gaming monitors (360Hz panels have recently been launched), but it's going up and aims to drive games at very high frame rates in serious esports.
