A Parachute Mirrors Life

It’s early in the morning and a gal who is just beginning to take risks decides to parachute from the sky from a different location.

Her name is Sue.

Although the sky isn’t new territory for this gal, Sue decides it’s time to change her fortune in life.

Sue has been looking up into the sky since she first woke up in the wee hours. Although it is still dark out, Sue has a feeling her life is about to change.

Since Sue has jumped from a plane in the past, this isn’t her first rodeo. Sue wants to try to jump from a plane by parachute to a different place. So, you may ask yourself, “Why”. Well, today, Sue woke up and had a funny feeling that her fortune is about to change.,

What begins early in the morning turns into a day of the unknown. Sue is far away in her thoughts but wants to try something different than her usual jumps.

Off, she goes…

Sue is still playing it cautiously but has hope that something is nearing. The minute before she is about to jump, she hears lightning in the sky. Although it was a quick flash, she is worried. Luckily, her instructor is with her for the ride.

He tells her they will have to wait a little bit to make sure a storm isn’t in site.

Sue and her instructor wait a bit to see if the weather is going to change. They wait for a while.

But Mother Nature has different ideas. The clouds and the bouts of thunder and lightning make it impossible for her to jump today.

They decide to head back to the ground.

Sue Hopes Today Will Be Different

Since Sue couldn’t parachute last week, she is determined to give it another shot.

Sue carefully pays attention to the weather forecast over the next week and reschedules her jump for the following week.

When she wakes up on the day of her scheduled jump, she is relieved to see the sky is bright.

Sue gathers her gear together to head out to meet her instructor.

Of course, today is unknown. Will the weather change again? Or will the sky remain bright?

Sue is optimistic today is the day to embark on jumping into something new territory.

In the minutes before her jump, she focuses on the sounds around her.

The minute she jumps, she feels empowered.

Sue’s New Perspective

When she lands on the ground, Sue realizes her fortune has changed. She landed from her jump with a purpose. Sue jumped from a different place and experienced something different.

What started and ended differently was Sue was determined that today would be a day for new beginnings.

Sue was open to trying something new. Ultimately, she discovered a unique opportunity to experience the sky and her surroundings differently than her prior jumps.

Not only did Sue’s jump go well, but she also walked away from that experience with a new purpose.

Over the last several months, Sue had been thinking about making a few changes in both her personal and professional life.

After Sue arrived back home, she decided to put a plan into action. Sue began putting an outline of changes she wanted to make to her career. Since she had been thinking for quite some time about going back to school, she decided now was the time to investigate beginning a new program.

Sue realized her jump from the parachute was the path she needed to build her own fortune.

Sue started classes in a field that she had been thinking about for several years.

Now that Sue was able to discover new things; she was looking at things differently.

Her life was changing.

Indeed, jumping mirrors life!
