Pinterest is an amazing way to grow your business, and it’s totally free to join. Sign up to Pinterest HERE and get started on growing your business.

To successfully use Pinterest to grow your business, you will need to sign up for a Pinterest For Business Account. Once you’ve done this, you can then create Pins that link back to any of your URL’s.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. Grow Your Email List

I’m sure you’ve heard the term “the money is in the list”. And it’s so true. You can have all the followers in the world on Instagram, TikTok and other social media platfroms, but if your account gets shut down, you lose all of those followers. Then what?

But guess what? You own your email list. Nobody can take that away from you. You can market to your list as often as you want, and you will only lose those subscribers if they unsubscribe.

*Top Tip — create an offer that people will want to give their email address for. Create 2–3 Pins and promote them on Pinterest.

2. Sell Your Services

Do you offer Coaching or Virtual Assistant services? If so, you need to create Pins that link back to your “Work With Me” page. If each of your services has its own URL, create Pins that link to each of those URL's.

3. Sell Your Courses

Do you create online Courses? Pinterest is the perfect place to promote those courses. Create Pins that link back to each course sales page.

*Top Tip — Don’t put prices on your Pins, as your prices might change. You don’t want someone finding an old Pin with a cheaper price only to be disappointed when your course price has actually increased.

4. Increase Brand Awareness

Every Pin should be branded with your logo, URL or brand colours. The more Pins that you put out into Pinterest Land, the more people will start to recognise you and what you have to offer.

*Top Tip — Embrace Idea Pins. At the time of writing, you could not add a clickable link to Idea Pins. Despite this, they are still a great way to increase brand awareness.

5. Grow Your Youtube Channel

How often do you promote your Youtube channel? If you’re creating video tutorials, then you should be creating Pins that link back to each video.

*Top Tip — Add a snippet of video to your Pin so it’s more eye-catching, and to give your audience more context.

6. Grow Your Membership

Got a membership site? Of course, you’re going to want more people to find you and become a member, so create Pins that link to your membership sales page.

7. Grow Your Facebook Group

Many of us have our own Facebook Groups and are looking for new members and to grow, so create Pins that link to your Facebook Group URL.

8. Improve Your Google Ranking

You might be surprised to know that creating Pins can improve your ranking on Google. How? Every Pin contains a link to a product or service on your website.

The more likes and repins your original pin receives, the more exposure you have, and more links to your website are being shared within your target audience. Over time, this will help increase traffic to your website, and as a result, will increase your Google ranking.

Mix it up and try a different type of Pin for each of your URL’s.
