5 Vintage Cell Phones worth a fortune are as follows-

1. Motorola DynaTAC

This is one of the most iconic phones in history, known as the original brick phone because of its huge size. Featured in one of the television shows ‘Saved By The Bell’, the phone made its big appearance there.

It is also the first commercially sold phone in the history of mobile devices. This piece of a phone can get you approximately $500 in the market and has had many versions being dropped in the market before.

2. Nokia 8110

The mobile device was a major craze back in 1996 when it was launched in the Indian market. It had a unique design consisting of a lid covering the dial pad as and when needed and I still remember the kids my age who went bonkers with this device.

Overall, this is a slightly bend phone, which gave it the famous ‘banana-shaped phone’ name. Like the above device, this mobile also git featured in one of e blockbuster movies of the year- ‘The Matrix’. Soon after that, the phone slowly glided into the collectors market, making it worth $500, if found in perfect condition.

3. Nokia 808 Pureview

Launched in the year 2012, this device is probably the newest addition to the collectors’ market. The major reason for it to be on the list is because of its super impressive camera, which hosts an amazing 41 megapixels, 1/1.2 sensor, and with an f/2.4 all aspherical 1 group lenses.

The picture quality can give some of the best devices today a run for their money. You can get around $200-$300 for the mobile currently if found in perfect running condition.

4. Apple iPhone (2nd Generation)

Known as the original Apple iPhone, this device was launched in the year 2007, changed the mobile industry with its radical features, opposite to the bulky, slow-performing phones.

Even a high buying price didn’t budge the buyers, who flocked to get the handset. This is easily marked in the ranks of collectible items. You can get a lot of money for this device, even thousands of dollars for a cell phone in mint condition.

5. Samsung SPH-N270

Another phone with a mark of Matrix on itself. This is the second device that got featured in the popular franchise movie ‘The Matrix Reloaded’, after Nokia 8110 (listed above) featuring in the first part of the trilogy.

It posed a similar spring-loaded action with both the prop and actual device, as opposed to the Nokia 8110, where the mechanism differed in prop and an actual model. This mobile was not great in features, but a feature on the big screen added value in its price, valuing a whopping of approximately $750 in the collectors market.

There are still many devices that can bring back you lots of fortune and you will have to find your way among them. Tell us what vintage phone you have and share your experience in the comments below.
