Winner's Circle: Prompted #3
the envelope, please
INTRODUCTION
Prompted: #3 is over and done with. There were a total of 7 entries for this challenge, just like with Prompted #2. That was a bit surprising, considering this was a poetry challenge. The first poetry challenge garnered much more attention. Of course, one way to look at the drop in participation is that Vocal writers are not fans of the rondel.
If you don't know the criteria for this challenge, you can catch up on the rules for Prompted #3 HERE.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
THE WINNERS
Of the total of 7 entrants, these are the poems that made it into the Winner's Circle:
1st Place: $20.00 - "After the Eclipse" by Matthew Fromm
2nd Place: $15.00 - "I Am My Own Play" by Lindsay Sfara
3rd Place: $10.00 - "Automatic Writing" by D.J. Reddall
Congratulations to each of you! Well done!
CONCLUSION
Thank you again to everyone who took part in Prompted: #3. Thanks, also, to those who helped spread the word. Although participation in these challenges has dropped considerably, there are some die-hard challengers still on Vocal.
Congratulations once again to the To the Prompted: #3Winner's Circle!
There have now been two poetry challenges and a fiction challenge. You may have noticed a pattern developing, bringing us back to fiction for Prompted #4. That's right! Polish up those prose pens and stay tuned for the May Writer's Challenge; a.k.a. Prompted: #4.
If you enjoy these challenges and want to see them continue, please let me know in the comments. A "like" and subscribe would be appreciated, as well!
At this point, I have committed to running the Prompted: #4 Challenge, but if the participation levels continue to dwindle, I don't know that there will be a Prompted: #5. So, please do let me know if you want more of these and, if you've been hesitant to participate, jump in on the next challenge and help breathe some life into the competition.

Congratulations on top story and congrats to all the winners!
Hi Randy, Great work with another challenge. I didn't see this one in time to enter (and don't have much faith in my poetry anyway), but I'll certainly look out for the upcoming fiction challenge.

Randy, I would love to participate and will with this challenge. I struggle to keep track of all of them going on now to be honest! I love the fact that people are enticing others into writing in new forms. Please keep doing what you're doing. It's a great thing.
Back to say congrats on top story!
Congratulations, everyone! Randy, I'm sorry to have missed this one, but I hope you'll continue with these funa adn well thought-out challenges!

I love your challenges. Even though I didnβt participate in this one, the draw was there, the time was not. Canβt wait to read about the next one. Also, Iβm hoping they go forward with creating a creator prompt community. It will be much easier to find the current challenges.
Wooohooooo congratulations to all the winners! ππππππ Looking forward to Prompted #4!
So sorry I missed this, will keep an eye out for future ones, though my latest challenge that closes on the 1st of May and has been open since the 1st of April has had one entry. C'est la vie, love what you are doing here
Iβm not a poet but enjoy other peopleβs poetry a lot. All of the winning entries are gems!
Congrats to the winners! I truly enjoyed this challenge and absolutely want more in the future. I'm looking forward to the next one for fiction. Thank you for doing this!
Thank you Randy! Great challenge as always. The form was definitely difficult so I donβt blame people!!
