Imperfection of the moon
The imperfect moon
In the velvet stretch of the night sky's bloom,
Up high lies a gentle reminder of imperfection: the moon.
Its face, a mosaic of craters and scars,
A testament to battles waged in the cosmic stars.
The moon is like a human,
looking smooth and perfect from a far but
Up close you are able to see the many carters that make the moon unique
Yet in its flaws, lies its exquisite grace,
A beacon of light in the darkest space.
For though it may wane and wax with time,
Its radiance remains, a celestial rhyme.
It embraces its imperfections with grace,
Reflecting the beauty of the human race.
In its asymmetry, we find symmetry charm,
A reminder that perfection is but a fleeting doubt.
So let us gaze upon the moon with awe,
Embracing its flaws as part of nature's law.
For in its imperfection, we find our own,
A fabric of life, beautifully sewn.
