In the webs of my life, numerous scars are woven,
Each a story, a testament to where I have been.
My scars speak of battles fought and wounds endured,
Of strength tested and resilience assured.
Some of my scars are hidden, buried deep within,
A silent reminder of struggles unseen.
Others are worn proudly, badges of honor,
The proof that I have weathered the storm and grown stronger.
Though my scars may mar the surface, my scars do not define me,
They are marks of survival, a sign that I have thrived.
For in every scar, there lies a tale,
Of courage, of healing, of love that prevails.
So I will wear my scars with pride,
For they are the emblems of the journeys I have trod.
And though they may linger, they cannot mar,
The beauty of my soul that bear them afar.

very sad and inspirational. I love your poem Alecia.
Scars can be visible and those more quickly forgotten than the inner ones. Strong and sad poem.
Interesting poem! What was the prompt? 🪩
