In Reference To My First Written Work
Sitting in my bedroom, a makeshift space in the attic of my middle school home, I couldn’t help but think about the news I just heard a few hours ago. Distraught from hearing my grandmother passed away, I couldn’t quite process it. I didn’t cry, I certainly wasn’t happy, I just remained sitting at the edge of my bed in silence. This would become part of my daily routine for less than a week, up until her funeral. But about a day or two before that would happen, I finally decided to open my journal for the first time in a week and try and write something.
Red Earth
Red Earth was the first text I ever scribed wholly. A personal reflection on the living, breathing Land of the Dreaming, the forty-nine-verse poem was written on my iPad Mini along the five-hour drive from Coolah to Wollongong when I was thirteen years old.

As a young boy, I blundered with a different set of emotions… they were stringent for me to clarify. Something apprised me that I stood unique in this world, but something also made me feel that I was dissimilar. There was a feeling inside that I couldn't describe.

It was not, until March of 2015 I decided to embark on that journey. As I walked I could feel I was there, a mere spectactor, no special interest in the miles, no special interest and no notion that any business relating to the destination had anything to do with me. It was the longest journey with the most brilliant and shrewdest friend. However, it was undeniable that something more than unusual importance was expected to transpire at the end, with the weight of anticipation growing heavier with footfall.
Bruce Simbarashe BininguPublished 9 months ago in WritersSHARK WITCHCRAFT? FEMALE SHARKS GATHER EACH YEAR BENEATH THE FULL MOON
Imagine a scenario in which storms overwhelm Los Angeles with shark-filled floods, and tornadoes twist those floodwaters into deadly twisters known as sharknados. Even while this scenario seems exciting, our emphasis today is on a true underwater mystery rather than the inventiveness of Hollywood. Under the full moon, we're diving among the mysterious group of Great Hammerhead sharks. In the seas near French Polynesia, sharks—often thought of as lone predators of the deep—display their secret social side. An all-female gathering of hammerhead sharks, with their strange behavior intimately linked to the moon cycle, has been observed in recent years by an international team of experts.

Astronaut John Crichton unintentionally enters a wormhole in the science fiction series Farscape from 1999, which is now available to watch on Peacock. He is then propelled halfway across the cosmos. In the Farscape world, wormholes are said to occur when two distant black holes simultaneously form and link to one another, ripping a path through space-time that may be traveled through. In the end, it's possible to fall into one black hole and emerge from it on the other side.

In a world where words often fail to convey the depth of emotions, touch becomes the silent language of love. The connection between a husband and wife is a tapestry of shared experiences, laughter, and moments of tenderness. They can touch each other's hearts with affectionate gestures, but there's one place that stands as the epitome of intimacy—the eyes.

I In a quaint village nestled between rolling hills and meandering rivers, there lived an elderly woman named Eliza. Known far and wide as the village's most skilled weaver, she had mastered the art of creating the most exquisite tapestries the world had ever seen. However, what set Eliza's tapestries apart from all the others was not their intricacy or grandeur but rather the heartfelt stories they wove together—the stories of everyday life.

Emily had always been the kind of person who stuck to routines. She woke up at the same time every day, commuted to her office job, and returned home to her cozy apartment in the heart of the bustling city. Her life was predictable, safe, and just a little bit dull. But that was okay with her. She preferred it that way.
Middle School Fanfiction
The first thing that I had ever wrote was fanfiction. When I was about fourteen or thirteen years old. It was something that I was extremely proud of. I think it had been something about DragonballZ. Like a self-insert or something to that effect, it's been too long. I'm not really certain that I remember the character. I do know that I had bad grammar and really terrible spelling skills. Also, I hadn't properly formatted it compared to how I write right now.
Raphael FontenellePublished 9 months ago in WritersRemembering World Invasion 1978
The first piece I remember writing was a one-page science fiction story in grade five. I had just read about Orson Welles’ War of the Worlds and decided to fashion my own “ripped from the headlines” tale about militaristic aliens seeking to cut-off global communications at a secret American Arctic base.
