Be a lady they said

and a smile crossed my lips

Here we go again

digging those digs

Accusations in red

made me wish they were dead

Be a lady they said

Be a lady

*

Be a lady they said

be polite and say please

Don't be misled or mislead

pacify and appease

Always look your best

be the best you can be

We can tell that you're "blessed"

Bend your will

and your knees

*

Be a lady they said

don't be so uptight

You've got the looks to turn heads

the right weight the right height

Be a lady, oh please

make them feel at ease

Tell me, which part of the lady

do you wish to see?

Be a lady they said

be a lady
