I woke up as I heard the flight attendant on the loudspeaker as I looked out the window through the gazing “Attention everyone, we will be landing at the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport in approximately twenty minutes.” I asked myself “Why is there always a crying baby on every flight I am on?” Every time I travel closer to the equator from my home in Philadelphia, I am always wearing heavy clothes meant for chilly months, because it can be cold on the flight. When I exit the plane and walk through the airport gate, it is scorching hot like being in an oven.

It all started on August third, though the first post wouldn’t be seen until the 12th. A young woman was found dead in her family home. It was an overdose. A painful day for her family and friends. With a person so small and a heart so big, it was going to be difficult to find a proper way to say goodbye. Yet somehow, they did.

Megan JonesPublished 5 years ago in WanderRent an RV
It had never occurred to me that one can rent a trailer or RV just like one rents a room in someone's home. It wasn't until I starting writing on UpWork that I realized that people can rent trailers and RV's for trips. This is a clever idea for both the owner and renter. I owned a popup trailer with my husband when the kids were little. The trailer spent most of it's time in the garage. If we were lucky, we took the kids camping a few weekends out of the year.

This year for Christmas, I spent the holiday in Spain. I landed four days before the big day and being pessimistic I packed lots of jumpers and a huge trench coach, in disbelief that the weather would be this gorgeous.

It's everyone's dream to sell everything you own and travel this beautiful country in an RV. No clocks or time constraints. Nowhere in particular that you need to be. If you don't like the neighborhood, you can break camp and find another one. I'm never been without a roof over my head and food in my stomach while my family and I explore the highways and byways of America, seeing sights some will never see. The bright blue of a cloudless Colorado sky. The ocean off the coast of Oregon. The field in Pennsylvania where United flight 93 crashed on that fateful September day. The swamps of southern Georgia and the masterpiece that is Mount Rushmore. Nothing is out of reach.
