Escaping the Rat Race!
In every civic and civil society, in every city, town, and village in the western hemisphere, the UK notwithstanding, you will find the masses going off to work for their employer. Some work five or six days a week, some part time, but most people will, by and large, be an employee of either a private, governmental, or third sector organisation. And certainly when an individual secures a new role and in the early days of that job, the employee will feel a sense of pride, purpose, and accomplishment as they participate and contribute to the social economic mix and basic practicality of being a productive and useful member of society. And on top of that, there are those essential and first response services such as police, paramedic, hospital, and fire whose staff believe their jobs are more of a calling to serve the greater public. And so we can see why going off to work for most people is normal and part and parcel of a wider societal conformity that the majority of the population are socialised and conditioned be obedient to and comply with literally as soon as they enter the formal education system.

Paul LevinsonPublished 7 years ago in GeeksPlanning for Pregnancy, Fertility Facts and Alternative Methods
When it comes to reproduction, fertility is the number one focus for many. Some people aren't able to conceive naturally. Studies have shown that one in seven women will have problems with infertility. This can be caused by numerous factors such as an underlying health condition, a poor diet, an unhealthy lifestyle, stress, depression, anxiety or even the smallest encounter with a toxin like fluoride {which is found in most toothpaste as well as drinking water}, or BPA{ a toxin found in plastic bottles and the inner liners of cans used in the packaging of canned goods}.
Kelsey ParkPublished 7 years ago in FamiliesWhat It Means to be Canadian
What do you think makes you a Canadian? Is it about just living in the country? Owning a passport that declares so? Root for the Maple Leaf’s next game? Even being a fan of hockey for that matter? Does embracing the cold weather or surviving it make you any more Canadian than the next guy? How about all those “Eh’s” at the end of each sentence? Or perhaps, it is something much more relevant than some sort of physical or arbitrary element? Truth is, identifying as Canadian means more than those preconceived ideas that one assumes. It is a personal belief defined by your own pride, love, and appreciation of this country’s ethics.

Whether we like it or not, getting a job typically means that you will be under a lot of scrutiny — much of it totally legal. Depending on your state, companies can legally ask you if you use birth control, if you have had felonies, and also if you have been fired for issues dealing with people.

Christina St-JeanPublished 7 years ago in The SwampLow Calorie Vodka Cocktail Recipes
Nothing quite helps kick off a night out like a nice cocktail, does it? And, nothing quite works as a better cocktail base than vodka, does it? Bartenders can tell you that vodka is considered to be a universal cocktail additive because of the fact that it doesn't have a distinct flavor of its own.

Riley Raul ReesePublished 7 years ago in FuturismWhat I Eat in a Day to Stay Healthy
I have never shared my fitness journey on my blog before. If I am being honest, I wasn’t 100% sure that I could do it. I also never liked photos of me, so posting monthly pictures of my progress was my worst nightmare. I am really proud of my progress because I made a lifestyle change. I didn’t do one of those crazy diets or use weight-loss pills. I simply changed my diet, went to the gym more and most importantly, was consistent. I definitely didn’t see results right away—it took a few months—but once my clothes starting fitting better, I wanted to keep going.

Andrea DawsonPublished 7 years ago in FeastHow To Get Into the Dark Web
The internet is more far reaching than most realize. It is estimated that there is 500 times more content on the internet than what can be found on google. This is not because all this content is dangerous or illegal. Most of it is actually just not public or not relevant to the user, so search engines don't index it. This can include email messages, private content on social media, bank statements, health records. Much of this is reachable, just not through your standard search engine. If you ever used J-Store in college to find articles, then you have used a search engine that can find the things google cannot. Regardless, this breadth of resources is known as the deep web. The web most people know and use is conversely titled the surface web. That is not all there is on the deep web though. There is a small slice kept away and not accessible by any standard means. This place, known as the Dark Web, is home to marketplaces for drugs, weapons, fake ids, and other illicit items. If you have ever heard of the fabled Silk Road, now you know where it was located. Illegal substances aren't the only things permeating the Dark Web. It can also be a means to anonymize your online surfing. This article will show you how to get into the dark web. What you do from there is up to you.
Bjorn BjornsonPublished 7 years ago in 01Groceries on La Isla Bonita
The Belize heat ignites another day in the town of San Pedro. A man steps out of his wooden stilt home and heads towards the main street on a grocery mission. Any reason to get him out of the house is good enough, as he is exhausted from the usual bickering with his wife of twenty-five years, even if that means walking across town with plastic bags full of food under the tropical sun.
Movie Review: The Lost Boys Turns 30
The Lost Boys turns 30 years old this weekend, July 28th, 2017, and the movie has not aged well. While it’s not quite the embarrassment that was the Twilight movies, The Lost Boys is bad in its own unique ways. While nostalgia might cloud fans of the Coreys’ first team up (Haim and Feldman for those aren’t fans of Tiger Beat circa 1987) the reality of The Lost Boys is that director Joel Schumacher is an epically bad filmmaker and teamed with a cast of not ready for primetime teenagers, and a minimal budget, Schumacher’s modest talents are entirely overwhelmed.
Sean PatrickPublished 7 years ago in GeeksTo Be a Leader
To be a leader is not to put the world on your shoulders alone, but to trust enough that others will be able to carry the burden with you. To be a leader is not to bark at others and give orders, but to bend your back with them and show them the way. You will know that you are a righteous and humble leader when nobody realizes that you have been leading them.
