The sky is on fire

The forest screams

They cover their saplings

They look to the streams

The sky is on fire

The humans roar

They gather their weapons

They ready for war

The sky is on fire

The mountains whisper

They look to the earth

Their silent sister

The sky is on fire

I hear them say

I’m helpless to stop it

The fire must stay

The sky is on fire

The river sings

The ocean, she listens

My warning still rings

The sky is on fire

The people moan

Can we stop her?

She’s ruining home

The sky is on fire

The animals run

Away from this land

This can’t be undone

The sky is on fire

I can make it burn more

Blister my enemies

And even the score

The sky is on fire

I cannot be beaten

My will is power

Yet I will not see reason

The sky is on fire

All because of you

Those who hurt him

I’m coming, you're through

The sky is on fire

My grief it outlives

You who ended him

Fire will not forgive

The sky is on fire

The last people cry

Their identities ash

There is no goodbye

The sky is on fire

No one is left

Now it's just me

My memories bereft

I am on fire

My breath is the wind

Grief takes me completely

The fire crumbles from within
