The camel lay dead amongst bracken and salt,

Comatose offerings encrusting the dirt.

The heat of the sun scorching its' skin,

Peeling of filaments, as glass eyes subvert.

-

The promise of moisture- the wantonness of life,

Expelled in fortitude, it’s travelers' sight.

The camel lay dead in crystalline grace,

The beginnings of exposure,

In harrowing showcase.

-

Remains of wreckage, rubble in ruin,

An empty-shelled oasis broken upon the Earth.

A dying man's whisper-

bubbling to mirth.

-

Beget simpler truths laid out to discover,

Betwixt blackened debris in a pretense of wealth.

Contorting ideas-hungry lips sate,

Longing for knowledge,

Lust-driven hate.

-

The camel lay dead molded in sin,

Its organic form gyrating abound,

Garbling inconsistencies,

Astuteness unwound.

-

A blackness drifts in golden seas gripping,

Astride a dark horse shrouded in mist.

A figure of smoke, cleavers of doubt,

Prowling on metals,

Distending clout.

-

Stolen is the breath, stone told to melt,

The abhorrence in nature beckoning fate,

Capturing granules,

Tick, Tick, Tick- Initiate.

-

Slithering scamper,

Sliding over rust-colored dust,

The figure approaches the waylaid beast,

Hovering heavily,

Boneless in feast.

-

The camel lay dead among silt and twigs,

Nothing beyond- shining anew,

Simpering skeletal,

Fractures in glue.

-

Empty lung sacks flapping,

Aromatic existence creates,

The ghost of a smile beneath soulful study,

Childish hopes-

Liquidize as desert putty.

-

A glittering field encompasses the eye,

A flame in the deepest night,

The wrongness of reason,

The beauty in sight.

-

The camel lay dormant sugared in soot,

Leftover from wanderings of a yolk-driven sky.

Discarded as waste, abandoned behind-

Sacrificial lamb,

Disguised to the blind.

-

The cloaked figure enters a fence of jagged stalk,

Sagging Earth divesting purpose ad hoc.

Titling head in reason- a prayer on the wind,

Fine motors emergence,

In death- a begin.

-

The sky exhales- in warmth and in warning,

Sparkling desires in rapturous rise,

Pulsing vibrations harken predilections,

Fastidious creator,

Insightful introspections.

-

The camel lay dormant in ashen pallor for now,

A songbird of note striking a last chord.

Engrained society links like-to-like,

Toxicity en masse, a beast in hoard.

-

Bone pierces flesh routing evil-soaked gristle,

Campaigning blood-sodden muscle release,

Into the palm the match igniting,

Its’ treacle- a treat,

Savagely fighting.

-

The camel lay dormant between palms and a palm,

Captivating fine lines of brevity, caramelize crust,

Voluminous potential- statue in time,

The essence of glory in trial and trust.

-

The Shadow withdrawals from the carcass display,

Its inners coalesce and collapse- a world folding in,

The capriciousness sought around him,

Impulsivity to master-

A fat to be trimmed.

-

He leaves without warning,

Flagrant cease and desist,

A wake pouring sorrow,

The rolling dunes of flaxen drift.

-

The camel lay buried, melting in sand,

The water's last kiss brokering relief.

Abject fortune sinking with care,

Trolling the mysteries,

Capitulating dare.

-

I moved from space without want or desire,

Floating down amongst rivers of life,

A soul turned downward in a curious quandary,

The sharpened edge of a gilded knife.

-

I am above suffering in a challenging race,

Charbroiled to taste- humanity in proficiency.

To take what is given in offering alone

Obliviated waste.

Capsizes the throne.

-

The sun traverses daily,

Its path unto sleep-

The Reavers are calling!

All souls will reap.

-

The camel lay dead in a cacophony of sound-

The mites are nibbling, undulating fairground.

The camel lay dead unseeing eyes search-

The clock keeps on ticking- heaving lurch.

The camel lay dead amongst briars and bugs,

Carnage evaporates into liquidized sludge.

-

The camel was lost- to time and to space,

Our life forces commence to tighten and twin,

Engulfed in the desert's parched silence,

I was nothing but another grain of sand in the wind.
