Early spring

Birds sing

To me as I rise

Eyes

Gaze upward

At blue skies

What a day this will be

Full of possibility

I open the door

Spirit soars

As I peer out

Heart full of wonder

Absence of doubt

The sun is warm

Tiny buds form

On the bushes and trees

New life blooms

Right in front of me

Tis the season of rebirth

For all lifeforms

On the earth

Fresh spring showers

Nourish

Plants and flowers

Flourishing

Spring greens

Dewdrops sparkling

In the bright

Morning light

Life pulses in the womb of spring

New beginning

Promise and growth

Nature’s solemn oath

To reappear

To return each year

Colors, scents, sounds

Life pervades, life abounds

Energy

Within me, around me

Connecting

And affecting

Absolutely everything

Singing

Songs of joy

Songs that employ

A vast miracle

Of a spherical

Rejuvenation

A coming and going

Reaping and sewing

One season at a time

Life

A gift from the divine
