I was running backwards,

Sinking into the daylight of a new moon.

How the air stung my pores.

A shiver I could never explain.

One that resides in your bones.

When you know everything is about to change.

About the Creator

Anxious Little Rock

Writing to free myself from years of never sharing my voice. I was always the girl with the quiet confusing stare. Lost in thought, always questioning when I would ever belong. Always misunderstood.
