I am her
She is me
Unworthy
Incapable
Lonely
She is weak
You will never hear her say that
She is deserving
True love doesn't exist
She won't deceive herself by claiming
Sadness is temporary
Accepting that this
Is her life now
Hiding behind a fake smile
Persuading others that she is happy while
Calling her beauty ugly and
Being ashamed of her body
She would be foolish to believe that
What she sees will change

Wow. Just wow. I love how it also reflects the cycle of that downward motion followed by the upward motion a feeling better about yourself and then a trigger could happen and you've got that downward motion again. Beautifully done.
