Multi-colored tapestry
A Poem on Celebrating Differences
People say that variety is the spice of life, and they would be right. Life has much to offer, in ranges and shades.
The food we eat, clothes we wear, books we read and even the pets we keep all have types and variations. Each dish we partake of and little dog we welcome into our home has unique traits that separate it from everything else in the world.
Yes, life is an intricate, cleverly-woven, vari-colored tapestry. We celebrate and appreciate our differences. Each of us has afew that separate us from everything else.
Yes, life is a multi-colored tapestry, and let's be thankful for this little sonnet.
Colored coat, its threads entwined,
Unique and set apart;
Sewn with care, with threads so fine
Well-formed, a work of art.
Colored coat, each piece distinct
Each has a tale to tell
Each thread so bold, but all well-synced
And bound together well
Tinted hues, same yet unlike
Combined, shine fresh and bold
Each colored thread, fine and bright
Together, bound, well-sewn
Colored coat, same yet unique
Sewn threads, none can compete.
