Free Right to Your Own Perspective
Don’t waste time arguing with a narcissist
Perspective
Is objective
Like an opinion or attitude
Here, there, with interludes
Neither fixed, nor stable
Neither belief nor fable
Whether you favor or oppose
Resentment grows
Between
Disagreeing
Mental chatter
Which should shatter
Sense of self, or ego
The one who longs to know
How it feels to be right
Despite
The fact no one can be right all the time
But he’d bet his last dime
On his winning opinion
His righteous dominion
Overpowers
Logical hours
Evaporating in haste
An empty disgrace
Is growing
Becomes a keen knowing
Of the seeds he’s been sewing
Love fizzles
Into deafening whistles
Red flags
Packed bags
Without a doubt
You just want out
To go live your life
Without all this strife
Be done, be through
Rediscover you
Move on
Put the past upon the shelf
You are allowed to think for yourself
