Neither particle nor rhythmic wave

Survives not first embarkations intact

Nor follows our rules, nor duly behave

Predictably, nor consistently act

When a duality of open doors

Doth welcome both, vibrations in entracte,

Between two worlds', vying in outcome wars

.

With outcomes alternatively subsumed

It knows all future possibilities

And betrays entropy's abhorred vacuum

So nature betroths probabilities

That wax with terrible omnipotence

Till spoiled by rude visibility

Predestined by some greater omniscience

.

We bear witness to how our paths transit

For us, but not for our diff'rent brothers

A one-way fool's trip through the double slits

A furtive bait-and-switch of diff'rent druthers

To fractal and deterministic ways

Unsame, strange children from the same mothers

Forever veered, from us, our paths aweigh

..
