Who doesn't love coffee? About four to five cups each day is what it takes to keep me going at light speed—I'm living, breathing proof that coffee can impact your mood. Except, while everyone is dashing off to their nearest Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, I prefer to enjoy my morning cup o' Joe the right way; through the soothing, home brewing machine of Nespresso fame. Even though I usually stick to my cast iron pan for certain meals—it's an absolutely essential tool for cooking a perfect steak—I have always dreaded washing it. I've actually ruined a few iron pans in the past because I didn't know how to properly wash them. There are cleaning tips available for other types of pans, like how to revive burnt teflon pans, but cast iron is notoriously difficult to care for. Especially since I Airbnb, the spare bedroom and the neighboorhood I live in has had the occasional break-in (there was a murder outside my apartment before I moved in!).
