Nigerian singer Skales has been sharing a lot of his personal problems on social media recently. Here is what Skales had to say during the interview.

During his interview, Skales opened up about being broken, not believing in love anymore, and more. He said:

SKALES: I'm a broken man right now. I don't believe in love anymore. I just believe that human beings are selfish. There is really no love. There is a motive behind every love right now. And it's crazy because I feel the realest love is still my mum's love and maybe God's love and even though in a way I feel like I'm offending God when I say that because God is love y'know. But I'm just talking about the human form of love, it's like there's none of that.

I believe I'm a great person that is in a wrong generation. It's like there's a competition now between the men and the women. I hang out with a lot of females, and every day I'm like this generation is totally lost. My family was broken and I have an experience of love still. Seeing what I'm seeing now is crazy man, and it's like a circle. Everybody just gets recycled.

I used to love love. But falling in love right now is such a dangerous thing. True story is that I'm like the only flesh and blood from my family that is alive right now. I have no uncle, no aunty. It's part of what's affecting me. I'm beginning to understand that and I'm talking about it because that's like my own therapy. And also, as I talk more about it, I feel like someone would be inspired by my life and see how no matter what is going on around me, I'm still going at it.
